- Located just 40 minutes from Barcelona, the beautiful beachside town of Sitges is one of our favorite getaway destinations in Spain. Stroll the narrow streets and the romantic esplanade, devour tapas at the award-winning bars and restaurants, and shop the stores for your favorite souvenir. Sitges is a popular day trip from Barcelona, but we think it's worth spending a few more days in this historic beach town to really see what it’s all about.

Emocionante experiencia, me parece un pueblo muy bonito👍
Sitges is an amazing and unique beautiful town, I have been many many times over 30 years, like you said it has many beautiful beaches bars restaurants and so so much more, thank you for sharing this video, brings back many amazing beautiful memories 🤩🙏
Glad we could bring back some memories! It's a special place.
WOW Fantastic video, I just added Sitges to the Beach Town list, my fiancee loves the beach and it was the only way I could convince her to move to Spain or Italy was if we lived on the beach.
Thank you so much! There are many beautiful beach towns in Spain :)
My daughters and I spent three days in Sitges after our first Camino. They would go to the beach and I went to the museums all day. I could not believe how close some of the art was to me as I walked around!
That’s awesome! There’s something for everyone there.
This video is so well-made, must have taken a ton of effort. Thank you for sharing your beautiful journey 🎶✨💕
Thank you so much! 😊
Don't forget Sitges has great Gay Pride events also the worlds oldest know gay community beach dating back to the 1930s. such a loving inclusive town. Glad you love it also.
Very true! There's a wonderful community there.
Wow congrats guys, wonderful video! I love how it's written and well organized. Seems different than your other content, good to stretch out and try new things. Lots of great shots, love the art.
Thanks so much! We've made a few of these types before (a few years ago). They take soooo much time to edit so we don't make them very often.
Love the embroidered shirt and flower in your hair, Lainey!
Thank you! The shirt is from the 1940s
Glad to see you guys are enjoying life in Spain. The town looks wonderful thanks for the tour.
Thanks so much!
There seems to be an endless amount of cool towns in Spain. Gracias!
There really is!
That is such a quaint and charming town. I was there in April as well before they had a year round calendar and mass tourism. The Cau Ferat is one of my fave museums in Spain as well. We spend a few days in Sitges and stayed at a beach front hotel for €30/night which I negotiated it down to €20 bc I said that their water was too hard and my shower gel was not foaming properly, (the nerve, right?). One of those night there was a storm on the Mediterranean, so the day we went to the Museum and the palace, the waves were so large that they were breaking all the way up to the windows. Unforgettable.
Glad you enjoyed your time in Sitges.
I was just wondering if we were ever going to see you dance again.😊
:)
Sitges is also famous in Spain for its fantastic film festival that is celebrated in the month of October.
That sounds awesome. Definitely too many fun events here to see.
Great content!
Thank you!
¡Dios mío! I gained about 5 kilos just watching y’all chow down. As for the waves, yeah, small, but some lefts for us goofyfooters. Will have to get wet just to work off some of those tapas, empanadas and Ibérico jamón sammies! Thanks for the invite. Your videos just keep getting better n better!
HAHAHA. There's so many good eats there, that's for sure. Thanks so much for the lovely comment.
Those museums look really interesting!
We loved them!
you are geniuses
Thank you!
Love
My people go there for a different reason. 🌈
Haha it’s the best.
damn im going there in 4 days time yayyyyyy
Have fun!
Great to see you guys out there! Have you guys been to Dali’s place? After my Camino, I plan to go there in October. 🥃
We haven’t been to Dali’s place. Next time! Let us know how you like it.
Heads up! There isn’t just one “Dali’s place” but three near, but not in Barcelona: in Figueres, Portlligat near Cadaqués and Púbol. Enjoy your October trip!
haha, we who live on the north countryside of Barcelona (a county called Maresme), almost never set foot on the regions south of the city, where Sitges is located. To us the area is too dry, too crowded and too hot for our likes. I reckon that the area has its things though, all of which I just learned from your video 😅
Go on the off season! It's great on a weekday when there are way fewer people visiting.
Lol, the weather in el Maresme region and in Sitges are the same or practically the same.
Do you need to book tickets in advance to the museums and the English-language tour?
For busy weekends, we recommend booking ahead. When we were there in April, some people purchased the day-of.
KEEP SMILING... BUT WHY...?
