I'm sure someone already pointed it out but at 2:37 in the bottom left of the screen over the patch of grass in the water you can see the PMM loot text over the pistol. You will not be forgotten little pea shooter o7.

Did you use the morphine medicine ? If not you should consider using it in the next challenge.Cuz it has a damage resistance and it can save your life sometime.

I have 4 Full Empties and a nosorog fully upgraded. Take Morphine and Epi and the entire monolith is bewildered by the fact I take 100 rounds from 20 different monolith.
However If I walk into a electro anomaly I'm done for.

18:13 I know your pain, dont know why those boxes specifically are indestructable, but after I noticed that there's a "boxes broken" statistic i had to break every box i came across. Long story short, i sat for a good long while with the infinite ammo cheat on just trying to break those damn boxes

Here's a mission for you stalker. Can you beat the game with only the guns of an fallen enemy if the gun runs out of ammo you must change the gun with another fallen enemy gun

Wavey is pretty much the Mitten Squad of S.T.A.L.K.E.R, literally beat the game with the very same weapon that caused the "you do more damage in Master difficulty" myth to become alive since Shadow Of Chernobyl in 2007, because of the Makarov's terrible damage output

Now, if only pistols were a bit more viable overall in Anomaly.
Sure, 9x19 is solid enough as is, as it also doubles as a good SMG caliber for allround play... but man, everything else is just awful: 9x18 is noticably weaker against anything armored, even with AP rounds and that means you'll be hosing down bullets. .45 ACP is surprisingly heavy for the amount you'd want to have spare with a sidearm and .357 magnum is seemingly too weak for its price. I'd have loved to play Anomaly using a variety of pistols, but given you can't even put better sights on them (BaS fixes that at least), they're just worse alternatives to any other category.

Really 9x18 is best if youre killing killing animals/small mutants. I even play survival mode and it works well, but its a bad idea in general going out in the zone with only 9x18 firearms
The boxes at the Jupiter underground entrance are definitely unbreakable, it's not just your game. I spend a lot of time there and it always annoys me that I can't break them.

Ahhh, memories of my (4th or 5th) vanilla run throughs of the trilogy.
I usually ran a Putter and a Driver [Makarov & ... getting to a SVD/SVU] or CQB [MP5 & Groza]
worst run was VERY weight limited. A fair bit of load bearing from the 2x granades carried, the yump back to a chache to restock and go again. XD
These challenge videos are refreshing! I'd love to see you do a hip-fire Toz only run

Guys, real top tip in cordon, if you dont want to deal with the Northern checkpoint, theres a level change east of the farm to Garbage, never have to deal with silly little bandits again.

Did a pistols only run a few weeks ago. Upgraded to full auto mode, these things chew through Monolith like a beast. Only problem is, the muzzle fumes make you see jack shit.

I found the human enemies alot easier to deal with at night, at least when it comes to the swamps, garbage is always garbage
@13:00 if you have the upgraded psy helmet, you are actually immune to psy storms. Provided you have at least a small amount of psy resist. (which even the most cheapest of helmets do).

For anyone that is actually considering a pistol only run, try the USP Match, this is the only gun in anomaly (vanilla) that has .45 ACP damage values but the AP capabilities of 9x19, if you use AP rounds, Makarov is in fact weak yes 9x18 sucks
Super cool video not saying this invalidates the run in my mind they are close enough but the suppressed pistol is not just a makarov it only has like 2 interchangeable parts they work extremely simularly but definitely different guns.

In my current Anomaly playthrough I have completed both living legend and mortal sin, and yet I have only gone to the swamps once to talk to Doctor. I do not understand how anyone can ever go there, there is so many mutants and bandits, and Clear Sky is just a worse mixture between Ecologists and Loners. Its a fun place to go looking for a challenge with little gear, but otherwise I would never go there if I didn't have to.

Just downloaded and started playing Anomaly and.....well, nobody said that it's gonna be hard to even kill a damn boar. Fanatic gave me a mission where I have to hunt boars with him and we went to the place and one boar smashed in him and he immideatly died, soon after me too. I was like okay, this isnt how it supposed to happen, not in vanilla at least

Have you considered doing an 100% run for Anomaly? Namely the 100% with the Invictus achievement. I know its considerably harder and incredibly annoying and I with many attempts still haven't done it but I thought it would be cool to see someone else get it.

Mmm tough to say, EFP and GAMMA are the big modpacks out right. Would be worth a look.
I also like to occasionally run Warfare mode too, to switch things up
Be thankful the Macarov guns in Anomaly actually work unlike the vanilla games also fighting anyone whit a 7.76 or higher it is a nightmare, they delete you in 2 shots

I have played Stalker Call of Prypyat before and have killed a Chimera with a Makarov there. It took me about 100 rounds 😅 The trick was to keep a certain distance to it by running in a slight angle towards it, just when it jumps towards you. Because I encountered it in an open field it was pretty easy to do.

@@hunk-909 meh! too boring lol for shits & giggles i used the 6 shot launcher to take out duty base .. that and a few stim paks lol
i took out every single base as a monolith with the starter armor and an MP5, took a few saves (iirc it was around 10 or 14) and then deleted said run since i was testing if i made the game hard enough (i was midway)
This makes me want to play a save with only the Gold Desert Eagle lol

played half of the game with the makarov just cause I mainly was hitting heads thought why spend money on other guns as other guns atm were foreign to me. Killed most of everything with +P ammo and headshots. Later in the game I found a LR-300 and begun using that. And the makarov.
