Something seemed wrong with the crystal ball. You couldn't see the image inside it after a while. Perhaps a vent hole somewhere to let some of the mist escape.

I used plastic transparency paper. They kind they used with overhead projectors. You can find it at any office supply store.

It's called "Puss in Boots" by John Millais - It is still a mass-produced print, so it's not hard to find. Art.com has many sizes.
