NDSU is also 9-4 vs fbs opponents since 2011. All JD is saying do not overlook this team. They're not a pushover.
I think CU wins it close. I think NDSU O-line is losing most if not all their starters from last year. NDSU defense looks tough tho and they have an experienced QB who does not throw picks.

They've upgraded everywhere and coached up LY players. SDSU is good and could possibly upset OkSt because OK is inconsistent but CU is unquestionably more talented.

Iowa back in 2016 did when they were ranked 13th in the country and had just beaten the breaks off of in-state rival Iowa State 42-3. They lost to NDSU. It’s all gonna come down to CUs O-Line & D-Lines. If Shadeur gets the typical protection afforded an avg to good Power 4 Team they should win by minimum touchdown & field goal. If the D-Line dominates and shuts down NDSUs run game it’ll be by 2 touchdowns. However if CUs trenches struggle this could be a win for NDSU…..it’ll all depend on the CU trenches.
Finally an unbiased prediction. Talked about both sides very well
NDSU has an NFL-level O line; they control the ball and pound the line of scrimmage. We will see how much CU has improved early and all day long. It's gonna be a good one to watch.

I think NDSU probably has better line play but skill position players and qb are a huge advantage for cu. If it’s ugly and ndsu can get the run game going then they can win. A shootout suits cu.

Most comments are biased. I see a color thing with most comments. Most commenters have never built a program when it was trash to begin with. I really believe Coach Prime saw the holes, and started filling them in. Heck look at Nick when he came to Bama, it took time to gain traction. Second year I give CU a 9-2 record. Only time will tell.

Respectfully, whether there are comments about race or not, I think Prime is a good coach and can potentially bring Colorado back to a consistent winner, but to have a 5 win jump year to year is going to be tough could see them potentially getting to a 7 win mark as a ceiling.

The big 12 is not an easier conf by any stretch and look at the schedule. There is about 4 games where you can say Colorado will be a small to medium favorite. My money is on the under for this squad and that is w/o a possible injuries. depth is not a strength at QB. We will see but I am not buying the Buffs getting to 6 wins this season.
