- A nice little video of some footage of my car on track finally, thanks to Jan! It soon turned out to be a catch me if you can scenario with each of us taking a lead. Cars are very evenly matched with the Golf R7 powering out of corners with the 4 wheel drive and the Giulietta Squadra Corse being better balanced and stronger on braking. Only just over half a second in favour of the Squadra corse... I think the next session we will see the return of the 7R in full force ;) superleggera phase
Alfa sounds and looks much better than the Golf!
I prefer Alfa Romeo :)

Hey verry interesting! want know the performance of both cars? thanks like more video of comparison like rolling start ect.. nice video And damm nice exhaust sound of the alfa much better than the R in my opinion!! I have already I am a new owner of the giulietta QV (235hp) manual transmission I am also looking for a solar exhaust system! Thanks man
lol the QV was meant to compete with the GTI, the Golf R is a different beast, mostly because its 4WD. The Giulietta obviously wouldn't stand a chance. Still, you should consider that for a FWD with only a 1.7L TB 4cylinder engine the Giulietta performs remarkably well, if it had a 4WD configuration the Golf R surely would not stand a chance and it would elevate it to A45 AMG level, but yeah Alfa was being stupid, hopefully the successor would have 4WD or even RWD.

Better match would be to bring a Giulia QV Q4. Then it would be chicken murder.

Hi, so you did let the Alfa pass? I'm just curious cause it didn't look like him could go that much faster, but all of a sudden it was in front. Not hating on any of the cars, since I'm biased between buying a GTI or a QV 1.75 TBi! Nice vid though, thanks!

Alfa for me, no doubt. By far better looking, more character, charm and personality than dreary boring Golf GTI. Lap times at the end also confirm performance superiority.

Im not sure, there wont be much in it if there is. They should be evenly matched. R off the mark is stronger of course.
A prescindere dal fatto che iperpompare un motore su carrozzerie di serie come le bolbaghen...le merdaudi...le merdeces...ecc.. tranne forse la BMW (che costruiva i motori di quei capolavori volanti che erano i Focke Wulf) e vabbè anche la Daimler Benz....tutto il resto è metallo senza ARTE...CULTURA....STORIA..
Per fare un esempio:
Paragonare l'Alfa Romeo a questa accozzaglia di marchi e come confrontare la storia dell'Impero Romano con il regno di Pisduliro I e ultimo....
Fare macchine inutili da 500/600/700 CV non ci vuole un cazzo....guardate x esempio in Brasile su CZcams le Fiat Duna e le Palio elaborate con quelle potenze e vanno pure meglio delle tante Rs AMG m e cazzate varie....

Shut the fuck up, fanboy. Listen to the sound, feel the driving, look at the speed.. There's no comparison. VW is a four wheels fridge with no history. Alfa is a Car that made and still makes history. That's the difference.
