Hi Jared, since I know that you read the comments I want you to also to read this one. I have been having this issue about 5+ years. I thought always it was because of the gym and the chin-ups. But since covid hit I did not train in the gym and the problem never went away. I have this on both elbows! So stubborn I cannot believe it. I promised myself after watching this video that I am going to do the exercises your recommend + rotator cuff every day slowly or every other day, no need to overdo it. I started an arm wrestle workout regime my left arm the weak one was hurting so bad right at the elbow also had like a lil bulge and by instinct I massaged it fairly aggressive i did some stretching applied some pain cream those that smell like menthol and feel like it burns I’m glad I watched this video assuring that i was doing the right thing to heal my arm in 3 days the pain was completely gone. Great video
Thank you for this video. I'm over 60, train 2-3 times in a week and like sweeming.... suffering from golfer’s elbow since 6-7 weeks ago. I wonder if I should stop doing bicep/triceps excercise and sweeming?
I have been doing the exercises for knee pain relief for the past week and it has really helped. Thank you so much. Just yesterday I was thinking of requesting a video for elbow pain relief, and bingo! Thank you so much. With computer use, I have pain in right hand, in between index and middle finger, wrist and elbow.
I was feeling that! 2 Aleve helped to reduce pain. Will also apply your recomendations. I think that I hurt those muscles carrying a heavy tire or holding heavy weights while training for the trapezious.
Hello bro God bless you your techniques helped in a lot and have been doing it for two days and it's much better I felt it when I did my pushups with full range of motion the second day Thanks Doc and again God bless you ❤️
Thank u!!! These stretches really help! I’ve been in pain for months with my elbow and these have reduced the pain fast! Especially pulling back the 2 fingers!!
Inside my upper and lower elbow muscle hurt specially when i grab something and lift it up.I think its because of my work repeatetive fast movement. Its been a month now and I will try this method.Thank you for sharing.God bless you more.
Saved! I used to get elbow pain years ago when I worked in a warehouse. I've recently started rock climbing and had the pain return, yesterday, during a climbing session, being the worst I've ever felt it. I will start to do these stretches and exercises regularly from today. How long should I expect it to take for them to take effect and for me to be feeling less pain/aching in my elbow when active?
I have pain in the inner elbow you pointed at but mine seems to radiate above the elbow to the back of the lower Tricep; so, I don't believe that is Golfers elbow since there is no forearm pain. Hurt it lifting too much weight either on a Triceps pushdown or on a Bicep curl. Going on 8 weeks now. Pain would be if I was trying to open a jar with that arm.
I’m trying collagen supplement to help heal my elbow problem. my elbow problem is the inside joint of the elbow. Maybe collagen can help heal your elbow a lot faster along with exercises.
I think I first injured this years ago using push-up handles with a rotating base…so pushing and rotating simultaneously, which me thinky no goody. I hope your exercises will help. Thanks!
Thank you of the suggestions. Will try them out as I have this issue unfortunately for quite a while now..... Amazing content from what I see till now. Much Appreciated. In return as Sound is more up my alley , i See you are wearing a mic , however it sounds like I am listening to the camera microphone? . There is incredibly much reverberation resulting in you sounding miles away. Either find a drier sounding room when recording video+sound Or check if you are recording the Mic you are wearing or a mixture of the camera mic+the one you are wearing. Peace!
This would have been incredibly useful a year ago for me, but my current problem is on the proximal inside of the elbow, and hand exercises don't affect that area. I've been doing the cross-tendon massage for the past week, but I'm not noticing an improvement.
Great video in helping me understand my elbow issue. Question: Will I be able to continue using my arm/elbow? I’m doing the massage and have a bit of tenderness but it dissipates after 2-3 minutes. My arm feels healthy. Thanks.
I’ve been dealing with medial epicondylitis for over 2 years with continued pain. How often should I do these four exercises and does it actually heal the tendon? When do you stop?
I had golfer's elbow before and was treated for it but now the pain is on the other side of the bone, so more in the upper arm next to the triceps. Is that still golfer's elbow? The pain is still induced by the same motions that triggered the pain on the other side of the bone, which is now stronger and pain free.
I have pain in my two elbows. I did an x-ray, but nothing showed up and the pain is still very sharp, especially at night. I will try these methods, perhaps they will relieve the pain. Thanks a lot 👍🌹

Pinkie finger doesn't close fully, it did not fully heal when i got 5th metacarpal injury due to a bike crash.
I got burning sensation like pain in inner elbow by doing pull ups, stopped with exercise for about 6 months, pain gradualy disapeared. I tried again with being more caution ,but after few days pain came back in all its glory. I really like push ups, they are huge in my casual exercise rutine but with this problem i don't believe i can continue, which is bummer.
when I did a skull exercise with dumbbells, then I can't even do push ups, it came out in my medial triceps, it hurts me a lot, how can I cure this with what exercises do you suggest? do I have to stretch or is there no other solution except surgery PLEASE REPLY BROTHER❤
Hello Jared! My elbow doesn't exactly hurt much, but since I was a kid it pops out of place while I'm walking, so I have to keep putting it back in place several times. Why would that be, and what can I do about it? Thanks!
Hey there! I'm really enjoying your videos and find them so helpful. Can you help me out with driving posture?? I get all sorts of cramps/ knots in my neck, arms, shoulders, legs, hips, etc... I try to alternate positions, and keep my back up, but I'm starting to develop anxiety over getting in the van because I'll feel terrible afterwards. You can't avoid those horrible traffic build ups on the interstate that keep you in the car for even longer...! Tips? Stretches? Maybe pillows to help? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for posting these videos, I'm working on my posture at the minute and your posture videos have been super helpful, but im wondering, the pain I have is almost on the tip of my elbow rather than the inside or outside, should I try both tennis and golfers elbow videos or something else?

I felt a pop in this area of my inner elbow while arm wrestling yesterday and my right arm immediately felt weak and unstable. Do you think I should get it checked out? I currently have the same tender area as shown in the video and limited mobility without stiffness/pain
I'm experiencing the pain you describe, but the major pain is in the lower bicep. Should I stick to the treatment you describe here or do something different or additional? Thanks.
Hi Dr Jared - My pain is mostly on the inside elbow but it's behind my elbow joint such that when i do the cross friction massage i don't feel much pain in front of my inside elbow joint but behind it, it hurts a lot. Will these exercises and cross friction massage help or is that more of a triceps tendonitis? Please let me know.
Started getting elbow pain after starting callisthenics (weighted dips , cat scratches ) it’s a sharp pain and my elbow feels numb and hurts , imma try these exercises it’s a shame because now I can’t do no push movements
Same. My elbow actually popped and the following days were so bad that at work i could barely lift my arm it was in so much pain. With rest it felt fine but its been about a month and i still feel weakness and soreness. Going to PT very soon after seeing an ortho but im worried it is a lifetime injury to some degeee. Im only 30 amd i really don't want to give up working out including lifting but obviously i plan on taking a long break
@@Dang026 for me its better now .. I started doing forearm exercises with weights toughening the muscles by the elbow and also getting trying to get fluid to move in there like mobility work and Omega 3 fish oil (fish in your diet ) . Still hurts a bit if I put too much pressure or if I do like 100 pull ups I will feel it a lot but no where near the pain I felt 6 months ago .. good thing ur going to a PT he will get u back in no time
I'd just like to add don't wait before you treat this. Depending on how severe it is, it isn't going to go away necessarily at all, until you do therapy on it. I got mine doing chin ups and it got pretty severe. I just stopped working out altogether, lost track of time, didn't go back to it until a year later and guess what popped right back up, this time with lots of scar tissue built up (as I understand it). It's now been about 3 years and I still feel it off and on, and I'm still scared to push it on pulldowns (I don't even do chin ups anymore). I may even just feel it scratching my chin or brushing my teeth, then not at all again. It is by far the most annoying injury I've ever had. Edit: I just started doing your rotator cuff exercises last week after learning this could be a shoulder issue, and I happen to have shoulder issues as well. Thanks for the videos.
Hi, kind of same like but going 5+ years. Even quit the gym beacause of covid but the damn thing wont go away. I know that i have weak muscles of the rotator cuff so going to try this what Jared told us to do. I give myself 6 weeks to feel something. I also noticed the way I keep my hand while side sleeping could be causing the issue, if its under my head while I am on the side - no go so watch for this also.
Hi thank you for this! My elbow problem is more on the outer side, it feels like a toothache in my elbow. Will these exercise work for this too? Thank you Cindy 😊👍
I literally get this after the driving range or a round of golf… it’s literally every time I play. I’ve gone thru therapy and it did go away but it’s back again! I KT tape my arm along with wearing an elbow brace before I play. I also use a theraband flex bar. Is there anything else you can recommend or are these exercises you have explained in this video good enough,?
when I was a kid I broke my right arm and since then I haven't been able to straighten my right arm. it also hurts alot now. my neck, shoulder, and upper back are in pain
I have a bit of a strange query. When I do the first ROM exercise, with my right arm (The arm with more severe symptoms of golf elbow). I can only get my hand up to about 45 degrees. However, when I do it with my left arm (Arm with more mild golf elbow symptoms), I can get my hand up to about 90 degrees from the horizontal, so there's more ROM in my left arm compared to my right arm, with my right arm being more painful. Would you know why this is the case.

Great video
Wonderful news!
You're so welcome! I am happy to hear that!
I was feeling that! 2 Aleve helped to reduce pain. Will also apply your recomendations. I think that I hurt those muscles carrying a heavy tire or holding heavy weights while training for the trapezious.
I would tell you exercises #1-3 while it's painful, Mark. Work in #4 gradually as pain allows. Hope you feel better soon, man!
Hello bro God bless you your techniques helped in a lot and have been doing it for two days and it's much better I felt it when I did my pushups with full range of motion the second day Thanks Doc and again God bless you ❤️
You are so welcome! So happy to help!
Thanks so much....will certainly help my golfers elbow...love your vids.....keep them coming...
Thank u!!! These stretches really help! I’ve been in pain for months with my elbow and these have reduced the pain fast! Especially pulling back the 2 fingers!!
My pleasure!
I've been dealing with this on and off for a couple years. I just recently purchased a gyro ball, 🤞
Hope it gets better.
You have a clear plan in every video. Thank you.
Glad you like them!
Thank you for this video, very helpful!
You're very welcome!
Sudden relief..!! Thanks doc!! ❤
Most welcome!
Inside my upper and lower elbow muscle hurt specially when i grab something and lift it up.I think its because of my work repeatetive fast movement. Its been a month now and I will try this method.Thank you for sharing.God bless you more.
You are welcome, info blog! I hope you find these helpful and thanks for commenting!
Immediate relief, thank you so much 🎉
You're so welcome!
Thanks!
I hope they help too and you are welcome!
Thank you very much sir ❤❤
Most welcome!
Thanks for this!
Peace!
THANK YOU….about fucking time I found a straightforward video. No bullshit. Thank you much sir.
Muchas gracias Bro
De nada!
Thank you. My left elbow been bothering me for awhile.
You are welcome! I hope these exercises help you and thanks for commenting.
Much needed...
Thank you so much, Sidhartha Nagamalli! I hope these things help you, and thanks for commenting!
This was really helpful! Only one comment- would be easier to hear if you wore a microphone.
well gee.......that first half worked great! thanks Doc!!! :)
You're welcome!
You constantly save my arse. Thank you!
My pleasure!
I had golfer's elbow before and was treated for it but now the pain is on the other side of the bone, so more in the upper arm next to the triceps. Is that still golfer's elbow? The pain is still induced by the same motions that triggered the pain on the other side of the bone, which is now stronger and pain free.
Thank you for sharing !
My pleasure! I hope it helps!
Do you have anything to stop snap or pop in inner elbow?
I have pain in my two elbows. I did an x-ray, but nothing showed up and the pain is still very sharp, especially at night. I will try these methods, perhaps they will relieve the pain. Thanks a lot 👍🌹
You are welcome! I hope these help!
Does using a Captain of Crush affect help or hurt these tendons and muscles?
Thank you 🙏
You’re welcome 😊
Excellent. Thank you.
You are welcome!
Will definitely be trying the exercises from this video with my son. My 14 year old son plays baseball year round at a highly competitive level. He began experiencing inner elbow pain at the beginning of this fall season (September). After a few orthopedic appointments, he was finally sent for an MRI. the report read “tiny tear partial chronic tear of the UCL” “minimal stress reaction in the medial Epicondyle” “ mild prominence and t-2 hypersensitivity of the ulnar nerve - correlates clinically for ulnar neuritis “.
Orthopedic said to sit out fall season and go to PT 2x week - and strengthening the arm and shoulder is the key to fixing the elbow.
Struggling to find a local PT that is a good fit for my son so have been turning to our own online research that led me to your CZcams channel.
Do you do tele-health or video virtual appointments in addition to your channel? Not sure if this is even a thing for PT, just throwing it out there.
The goal is to find someone to work with my son between now and the the spring season to strengthen and rehabilitate the elbow and arm.
Your approach and style in your videos is fantastic.
My apologies for the lengthy message.
Thank you,
Ed

If I keep this going will the pain go way or can it come back on day bass used.
Thank you so much!
My pleasure! I hope these exercises help you!
Love the polo.
Thank you, this was so helpful 👍
My pleasure!
Hey man this really helps thank you for sharing!!❤😀
No problem 👍 Happy to help!
I have taken a fall on stairs and my right elbow was direct hit on the edge I am feeling sharp pain in interior elbow with some numbness in middle and ring finger but the pain come and goes And I have some swelling too should I consult a doc ?
Tha k you...very very much
My pleasure!
Hello how can I stop that build up like pressure rising up in the lower Back? I did a X-ray and results showed muscle spasms … now I’m walking and I’m trying to stretch my back the chair exercise oo thx keep up ur good work
1♥️
Thanks! I'll this and the shoulder exercises. I experience this elbow pain on my left arm when doing chin ups. Not sure if not being able to fully do a close fist on my left arm helps cause this or not.
The most important question for Jared is, Will tennis elbow, or golfer elbow heal after more than a year or no? Can you pls answer😢
Hi Jared, thank you for this video. How often should I do those exercises?
Have the same question ❤
best video on this
Thank you!
Having it since a year, now its v painful, pain in shoulder and area between the shoulder and elbow, kindly advise plz
Thanks for posting these videos, I'm working on my posture at the minute and your posture videos have been super helpful, but im wondering, the pain I have is almost on the tip of my elbow rather than the inside or outside, should I try both tennis and golfers elbow videos or something else?
I got a question. That tendon that you're talking about in the elbow could it cause pain in wests fingers hands and shoulders?
Also, I watched your video on how to sleep when you have an injured shoulder, just in case you don't see my comment there I'll question here too. What if you have pain in both shoulders?
Also also, how do you heal a torn muscle in your arm?
Please make a video on wrist pain
Great suggestion! Thanks so much!
I felt a pop in this area of my inner elbow while arm wrestling yesterday and my right arm immediately felt weak and unstable. Do you think I should get it checked out? I currently have the same tender area as shown in the video and limited mobility without stiffness/pain
Update ?
@LilGroceries never got it checked out, but only feel discomfort when it I apply resistance to internal rotation
if my pain is in the middle of the bone a bit above my wrist and not on the elbow should i do massage on the area that has pain?
Still hurts a bit if I put too much pressure or if I do like 100 pull ups I will feel it a lot but no where near the pain I felt 6 months ago .. good thing ur going to a PT he will get u back in no time
Question , can strengthening the grip help with the strengthening aspect of healing the tendonitis?
@@Atomicdelta765 I've had to change the way I sleep too. It has taken me months to change the habit but it's working. Good luck!
@@HAL-dm1eh thanks, you too!
Thank you, this is very helpful. I assume I should ice after exercises?
Hi thank you for this! My elbow problem is more on the outer side, it feels like a toothache in my elbow. Will these exercise work for this too? Thank you Cindy 😊👍
Hello Jared, I love your exercises, I want to know if these exercises are also good for Cubital Tunnel Syndrome. Thanks!
Ty
I literally get this after the driving range or a round of golf… it’s literally every time
I play. I’ve gone thru therapy and it did go away but it’s back again! I KT tape my arm along with wearing an elbow brace before I play. I also use a theraband flex bar. Is there anything else you can recommend or are these exercises you have explained in this video good enough,?
It’s ok if i continue with the training at the gym or should I stop until the pain goes away?
when I was a kid I broke my right arm and since then I haven't been able to straighten my right arm. it also hurts alot now. my neck, shoulder, and upper back are in pain
Bro you’re a genius , thank you Ssoo much
No problem 👍
