I love the size of my Champ, but I also love the shape, meaning the three dimensional form of the LT, which the Champ lacks. I think, as a small hands guy, a slightly smaller LT with the Scout X attachment system might be the ultimate slingshot for me. For now, it's the Champ for the minimalist pocket carry, and the Scout LT for everything else.

I, too, have smaller hands, and the LT fits me perfectly. I hated the original scout and am now concerned that I wasted 💰 on the X.

@@DoubleDeeeZSlings I received the X yesterday, shortly after you left your reply. My honest thoughts after putting 500 shots through it, NOT my thing! I love the engineering and quality that went into making this frame but I HATE the size. It was a waste of money for me, gonna back to the LT. I sent SimpleShot an email asking about getting an upgraded LT with integrated clips and Adam said he would note my request for an upgrade to the LT. If anyone reading this feels the same way, PLEASE, please contact simpleShot and tell them you'd like an upgraded LT too!
I would almost bet money that they will release a Scout LTX or something, with updated features. Sucks that it doesn’t fit you, but ya never know until you try I suppose… I just took the palm swells off of my X and it feels a bit better.

I originally took the palm swells off right out of the package as that's how I shoot the LT, fits my pinky perfectly but the pinky hole on the X is further down the neck and is pretty much useless for my hand size so I put the swells back on and used it with brace grip instead. I apologize for filling up your comment section :)
I have the LT and I like it size wise but no real good sight reference aiming point for my aging eyes and that's why I picked up the X in green and now I can see a real nice visible reference point with those fiberoptic sights just need to get out and practice more !!!

@@DoubleDeeeZSlings Ya bub!! If you get the chance....buy the Slant Press Pro. Especially if you like brace grip. I know we say its the shooter not the frame....but that Slant is a sniper+. Im out of shooting for a few months due to eye surgery but def getting the X once im able.
If you shoot the LT ‘all day long’ it doesn’t seem surprising that it would take you a while to adjust to something new. But I know squat. I’m buying one to get rid of birds that crap on my car. And decided I’d like the optic sights.
@@DoubleDeeeZSlings I’m using clay and so all I have to do is hit the power pole. If I kill the birds I’m in deep shit. And even shooting the pole can upset the neighbors. Because I live in Japan. The houses are really close together. For instance, there’s a section of my roof where I could NOT fall off because the space between my gutter and the neighbor’s is about 6”. The Scout X won’t let me get a full punch grip. Which is (was) okay bc I was worried about my hand being so close to the projectile path. Now I’m wondering if I might have made a less than ideal choice.
In this video I had Precise brand .7 thickness, I’m not a big fan of simple shot bands. I currently use SWC .4 and Sniper Sling yellow .4 and .5 a lot.
Yes, I'm also trying to find the most suitable one for me. I didn't think it would be such a big problem. I'm making it for myself because I'm just starting modern slingshot.

I don't like the Scout X. I found it also caused stress in the hand like yourself. Not the best one out of all of them. That could just be me though. I would have preferred simpleshot to have upgraded the Scout LT.

My first was the Scout XT, then I got the Torque. Both are quite good slingshot. But, when I got the Scout LT Pro....wow, I really like that one!!

I used a tiny paint brush for car models… and silver model paint… I don’t have a steady hand so it didn’t turn out so good…

Agreed!! The scout lt with fiber optics would be a top seller for sure. The X is way too big, but once again, personal preference. 👊
