Naah, more tragic to bilkul nhi bolunga. But yeah i understand why people will be more attracted towards akaza not tanjiro, its same in naruto vs sasuke, people accept bad behaviors (anger, revenge, fear etc) easily as the are primitive and easy to understand whereas good ones (love, calm, generosity etc) come by hard as they ate mix of very conflicting ideas which people don't want to burden themselves with.

Yea, because there was just one hashira.who did not undergo much training and tanjiro.. doma had to be poisoned horribly while kokushibo's fight was a nightmare to even hear.. akaza had quite an okay competitor.. giyuu is good but still one upper rank against just two people.. result have to be like that.
