That's not the anti drain back valve. That's the oil filter drain.
I just found the exact same issue with my 03 and wondering how the hell someone forgot to put it back in. 😮
Is that knocking sound normal ? What is it ?

I dont hear any knocking. Its a Diesel, if thats what you are referring to.
Mine hits a single knock after the check gauge after I step on it from idling.
**** Those are the Only times engine ever knocks
Where did you connect that gauge to?
Where the oil pressure sensor would usually go on top of the engine.
