- In this video, we will be building 2 versions of mp3 player, one with microcontroller and one without. This would be a great weekend project which you can build with a couple of minutes to spare.
If you like to learn how to make Printed Circuit Board for this project or have any question on the project you can post you questions here : pcbcupid.com/

Segment 5 is the fifth file saved to the sd card. Not necessarily the order you see it on the card if sorted by name or whatnot, but the 5th file you saved to the card. Segments in this system are great for soundboards or messages at say your doorbell or a phone system. You can play sound files or messages depending on what input a person might enter. Think hit 5 for a list of our options kind of stuff.
big fan of your cat bro.
😂😂
Somehow Mavis catches attention, but this is super simple, maybe I'll try making it sometime??❤️ You're awesome! Keep up🔥
Thanks😂💓
Bro I too live in Bengaluru and love your videos
Hey bro need help i have this df player but it is (wtv020m01)
But the problem is will it wiring is same as this new df player ?
I see this is an older video, but i hope you will still participate in dialogue. Thinking you have broad experience I am asking for advice. In my model train I need a Chuff Sound function. The Chuff is a Steam engine exhaust sound that expels spent Steam Pressure gas in the exhaust stroke of the steam engine. The exhaust in slow speed has a distinct sound and lengthy decay of noise. The Steam engine exhausts this steam 4 times for every rotation of the drive wheel. The steam piston is a double acting mechanism such that it has two strokes per piston for each single revolution. All Steam engine are balanced with two Pistons set at 90 degrees apart for smooth operation. Hence the the 4 chuffs per rev. The sound Board need to allow the storage of the complete Chuff Sound for the slow operation. But as the engines speed increases the long decay is over riden but the next loud exhaust chuff. So the Chuff peak sound will begin to repeat faster and faster as the engine speed increases. I need a Sound board that can react to an input trigger (usually a switch or button) which will restart the loud chuff noise instantly upon each trigger pulse. I have yet to find a device that is fast enough to maintain a realistic scream at high speed then revert slowly to the long draw out Chuff sound at the lowest speed. DO YOU know of any such device that can work on a single sound file and play it is the manner required????
I love this just awesome I hope u get more votes love from Bangladesh
Thank you
would like example how to stream audio from phone...to esp32 through i2S DAC
Damn....shame that Casio was being so difficult. I personally thought that the fx991 hack was fantastic
can you explain about segment5 and 1
good day im trying to make this project but im using a diffrent screen wihch is 128 bt 28 or somting close to that. im not using a battrey . I need a simplified version of you code. Could we make a deal and you help me with this code plz?
great👍
Where to buy the speaker from? Couldn't find in the description
This is a very decent and cool diy gadget. Thankyou for this great video. I want to built it for my own. One thing I want to know that in this player fast forward and backward options are availabe or not. Also resume playback after power is on. If not then can it be possible to manipulating arduino code for getting these features.. Please help me.
Thankyou a lot.
No it's not possible to add the features you're asking for, the df player is pretty limited.
"segment 5" I think means the 5th file on the sd card. User manual says it numbers them based on the order in which you upload them to the card.
No, I was talking about the button segment 5. The first button which is connected to Adkey 2. Take a look at 1:35
1:28 which button will pause/play brother?
can you play songs and runs leds at random at the same time? if so how, thanks
yes you can!
thank you very much for this much informative video.
can you please share the purchase link of speaker that can be powered by arduino

Glad you like the video!
Whether the vol will increase or decrease if I hold next & previous. Nice project btw
Next will increase the volume and Previous will decrease the volume. Glad you like the project.
@@Neutrino1 😇👍 I too like to make stuff
way do i nead TP4056 if ther is a arduino with charging port
If you have a Arduino with charging port, you can skip Tp4056
Last video program code no sir
What is that board in which you have connected the power adapter pin?
It's a power supply board for breadboard
Sir I seen without using aurdino all features are working so what is extra feature we will get by using aurdino
To play on command like play when triggered by a sensor or control wirelessly
@@Neutrino1 ok sir 😊
@@Neutrino1 sir can I can't do that all process using smartphone because I have no computer
@@Neutrino1 that process sir which you had done in part 1 of MP3 player
Sir how can i use battery power instead of computer cable?
There is another video I made explaining that.
I have a Arduino Uno can you make a video using it
It's similar connection. Just replace Arduino Nano directly with Arduino Uno
Buen video bro. Por fa podrías poner subtítulos al español
I'm not good with spanish, but I wish someone could do that!
@@Neutrino1 I think that when uploading the video there is the option to activate the subtitle in another language. It is interesting to see how productive others grab. Next year I will start studying English.
How do you know where to put the wires on the powerboard
I couldn't quite get your question? You mean the breadboard?
@@Neutrino1 yah
Excellent video, just skip background music. It's hard to hear you voice over it.
Sorry about that, I will improve it more!
What is the white doted board name
Breadboard?
how come its cost effective project the DF player cost 154RS but what about the SD card price with out SD card you cannot play audio in this module can you make use of EEPROM or any other memory IC to store audio file and play through Arduino command can you make a video on this topic
EEPROM are not suitable for frequent read/write and Flash memory of similar size would cost 10X more than the SD card. Finally playing a clear audio in Arduino wouldn't be possible because it doesn't have enough power to run audio (Maybe just 8bit audio with piezo like retro device).
@@Neutrino1 how come Chinese speaker while connecting disconnecting it's give audio notification what technology they uses
@@er.jugalmandal7736 They have a DAC to play the audio and a small Flash memory to store the audio file(less than 0.5mb)
@@Neutrino1 can you make a project with using DAC and small memory ic and Arduino it will be very helpful to us
Apakah boleh riques project?
I don't get you?
@@Neutrino1 please make an oled lcd clock setting tutorial with bluetooth android. thanks
Ali express is banned...lol
yeah 😅
