Base Camp | 2024

Last week our own Specialty Programs Coordinator, Cassidy, got to lead Base Camp! The week was soggy and included building fires in the rain, many hours cooking over a fire, teaching lashing, shelter building, orienteering, and canoe skills. She said: “But overall, my favorite thing is sharing my love for the backcountry with 15 middle schoolers and watching them begin to fall in love with it as well.”
YAA is permitted for outfitting and guiding in the Gallatin National Forest.
