On March 10, 2023, Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies were advised city police were in pursuit of a vehicle in Fond du Lac, WI. During the pursuit, stop sticks were successfully deployed on the suspect’s vehicle. It eventually came to a stop but fled again rapidly. Deputies then utilized a box-in maneuver to prevent the suspect vehicle from fleeing further.
The purpose of the featured content is to show the law enforcement interaction. It is NOT to publicly shame, ridicule, or degrade the individuals involved. Today’s world is swarmed with politics and conversations that are often misleading about our law enforcement officers. We feel it is vastly significant and imperative to show these interactions in their respective environments to inform and educate the overall public.

Bonus lesson from this video: don't stare at emergency vehicles if you're driving. They're already busy enough with the incident at hand, they don't need a to deal with a second accident because you needed to see what was going on rather than watching the road.

You can see at 9min in one of them admit that they only need a few there. Kind of careless and honestly a little concerning lackadaisical they’re being about the traffic buildup.

That's honestly such a good dog, hopefully he'll get a good home and won't have to be put through anything like this again. A pile up both ways on the road is horrible
A dog is only as good as the peers who raised it. Which is why I am strongly against just letting anyone have a dog. They should have to prove that they can take care of it. Dogs can be raised to become absolutely vicious, and too many times, officers are forced to shoot the dogs that are simply raised in a way that causes them to attack police. Of course, sometimes you also just have awful police with a fear of dogs caused by bad owners, and that doesn't help.
We do not make people prove they can take of kids before having them. They can also be a product of their environment and turn out to be vicious animals in some cases.

While it’s funny on camera, it’s actually something that is frightening for the officers in the moment as “guzzling alcohol, pulling a smoke, popping a few pills” last minute can and has been an indicator that the individual is mentally and physically preparing for a “final act” such as pulling a gun, attempting to ram with a car, or worse.
It's not unheard of for people that are about to be charged with DUI to do that, because a lawyer can say that they were not impaired while driving - they failed because they drank alcohol afterwards.
It's a last ditch attempt to get out of a DUI. As it can "invalidate" sobriety tests.

I love those talks that service workers have in the midst of everything. Firefighters, paramedics, or police, they all seem to be able to share a laugh about the situation sometimes and it’s kind of heartwarming to see that. Especially when it comes to the serious situations. They’re just happy to still see eachother smiling 🥲

It always breaks my heart to see people pulled over with their dogs knowing that if anything bad was to happen, driving recklessly or getting into an accident, or the car was pitted and overturned, the pup could be seriously hurt or killed. So sad.
Not to mention if the dog does anything to harm the officers it would be unceremoniously put down, or at the very least tazed. And it would do that because obviously it has no idea what is happening and thinks a member of its pack (the owner) is being killed by the police. A dog in this situation is both in extreme danger and extremely dangerous because of that animal instinct. Apparently the dog is doing great though.

There are safer (cars aren't 100% safe for anyone) ways for animals to ride. A crate is probably (arguably) safest.
I tether mine to a hardcore auto-zipline, using their heavy duty harnesses. Not an #Ad (but it could be 😁) all the products are from Kurgo. They actually test their products for dogs. 👍🏻

One thing this channel has made me appreciate about police, is that they are human like the rest of us. After all the action, hearing them initiate small talk with one another is honestly really interesting. How they talk about things they did, how they reacted, how nervous they were at some point it shows the human side that often gets overlooked.

Oftentimes it's worse... far worse at that. I've seen many videos of situations nearly identical to this except they would have several children in the vehicle! No car seat and once there was a drunk girlfriend holding an infant in the front seat!

This guy made some bad decisions on that day, but drinking excessively is probably what earned him the initial disorderly conduct and the felony charges. People like him really need help, I hope he’s ok and that he’s making better decisions.
