Honestly, Gege's use of Gojo is very good.
A shield and a mentor in the first place, who outshine everyone and only leaves despair when sealed.
Then a big hope when unsealed, with an epic fight and a proof that he is the strongest.
But finally he died, leaving the rest to people who grew up when he was absent. The fight is very unfair but not a pure massacre, which show that everyone got stronger when he wasn't here to protect them.
Finally, Gojo's back in the last moments, but only his body. We have another ray of hope and we're going to have the response to Kenjaku's question, the community can't enjoy the Manga and it's sad, it's not ours, we should appreciate and no try to have "our" end

Well actually it was Geto's question, not Kenjaku's, but yes other than that I agree with everything you said, very true

Nah bro the manga lost me in between the culling arc and I haven’t read since and I don’t like Akutami’s storytelling style now and definitely feel it’s gone down the drain a bit, becoming unnecessarily over complicated and less of a manga but more of a short novel. What even makes it a shounen manga at this point? Where is the thread of hope? What really does Sukuna want. How does Gojo, someone who wanted to change the jujutsu world and protect his students etc just give on his dream and be happy in the afterlife with no indication or reference to his dream and goal in life. Did he just forget after being in the prison realm? What was the point of all the building up of Gojo and Yuji? Or is the Mangaka saying that in his world the main character(s) can only get stronger if he loses all the people who are close to him? I seriously don’t get it. I try to understand through such videos but it’s like Gege has tied himself into knots he can’t get out of and he wasn’t paying attention to the story but tried too hard to bend it to his will.
Shounen manga ought to be easy to read more happening in the panels but at one point the whole page and panels were covered in words. Now I enjoy reading novels but that is a different format. A manga shouldn’t be like that, it is a different format of story.
Honestly haters in every fandom are toxic, esp One Piece where they unfairly say a mangaka is going downhill without having the patience to wait and see how it plays out. So I will just say that somewhere after Gojo was sealed, things stopped making sense to me no matter if I re-read it or looking at explanation videos etc. I am not willing to give more of my time to this story, however I will wait and give the anime one last chance to straighten the story out.

My problem is sukuna, he is strong with no backstory to his strength. Niether is there a deeper explanation of his curse technique. It seems like gege is coddling him through out the story atm. This can be fixed a back story tho.

I disagree with this. The whole cast has been growing since we've been reading. Yes Gojo being gone means they have to shine and grow HOWEVER, the students that Gojo has recruited have ALWAYS been working to get stronger, lets also not forget Yuji just broke the Black Flash record on Sukuna just prior to Yuta sliding through in Gojos body. Another thing is, Gege has an obsession with Sukuna not Gojo. The fans have an obsession with Gojo. The point in him coming back from the seal was because no single sorcerer could compare to a Sukuna WITH the 10 shadows, so the only point was to bring him back there. He also did not come back any other time, he's still dead. I think you may just be sad Gojo not coming back 😅

Gege had alot of inspiration from other manga’s such as Bleach and Hunter X Hunter. Gojo’s Nah I’d win is similar to a part in hunter hunter where a character(I do not remember who) says they will absolutely win against an another person.

    1. Gojo unsealing has been planned for a long time, if you actually read the manga you would know that the real world time between the sealing and unsealing, and his death was massive
    2. Like you said it’s tension ruining when he’s around, which is the point of Yuta taking over Gojos body, it’s supposed to be tension ruining, look at how violated Yuta is right now
    3. Now is not the time for character building as most are dead or unconscious

    • @Anime_Hunter001

      1. That was definitely part of the plan, and I'm all for it. Good call on his first escape from the prison realm!
      2. Yeah, he's definitely hogging the spotlight... and somehow still losing! That's inconsistent
      3. Hold on, what about Yuji?
