@@JaZoN_XD Eventually, you become one with the "BEEBOOBEEBOOBEEBOOBEEBOO" of the AN/ALR-67 warning for a radar lock. It becomes a usual, dare I say peaceful tone. You feel, complete; so at peace you could almost meditate as the systems of the pointy grey danger bug warn you of impending doom. Ah yes, living the life.
@@djm.6322 You can learn to ignore the tone you get when you detect radar signals. Ignoring the missile tone is less safe

I've thought about that. Like having this amount of knowledge in these aircraft, that has to valuable to an extent if they ever were to apply to the military.
@@jonathonmcrae5671 DCS is a one to one study sim, so you could train almost exclusively on it. Ofcourse, there are some issues, such as G level tolerance etc.
@@samhilton1711 I don't think it's a rated training Sim by the military. There's also a lot of classified systems that are not included.

The F-15's thrust to weight ratio is so good it actually can gain speed in a climb.
Nothing is cooler than the F-15. Nothing will ever surpass it’s coolness
I mean, define climb? Just about anything can gain speed in a climb if the climb is shallow enough. Or are we talking straight vertical here? If so thats mega impressive.

I worked on F-15 years ago in the Air Force. Watching them do vertical takeoffs was definitely a beautiful sight. Though I never read the data, I was always told the F-15 was the only jet (in USAF anaway) that could actually gain speed in a vertical climb. That was shortly before the 22 rolled out, and I'm sure those can too.
I've seen F-16s do vertical takeoffs a few times, but they would always roll out much sooner than the 15s would. If I remeber correctly they also did more of a steep climb and not so much a vertical.
Then again I'm also biased and think the F-15 is the best aircraft every made. XD
F-15 is considered a kind of heavy fighter, and also has a higher thrust to weight ratio, it means that it is not only a "heavy weight" it can also punch above its weight class

Love the content! I just missed you guys on the server as I saw the AWACS being repaired after it landed. Awesome video love both you and Ralfi. Also quick tip drew, you can display you electronic warfare on your hud. Didn’t know if you knew this but makes evading a tad bit better so you don’t have to look at your lower ddi.
That ending was amazing and tense
Looks so much fun, still choosing between the f16 and f18 to start dcs with, leaning towards the f16 because of the cockpit view and speed ( playing in vr ). Vtol was also really cool but I would really love to fly dcs and actually be busy with all these complex systems and having to pay attention to many little details ^^ Great video as always drew!
