Arguably the most helpful and practical “camera” channel. Thanks!
This the most helpful tutorial so far thanks for taking the time to share it👍🏾👍🏾
that's what i call a VLOG! Super authentic
Thanks dude!!
Amazing vlog! I'm an up and coming vlogger in the FPV drone world and you have helped me bring out my more creative side. Your execution is amazing so it was a no-brainer, SUBBED! Cheers my new friend and I look forward to your future projects. Stay Phly🤘🏽
Super helpful, just getting started filming and the like - these are great!
I really like this video. Found myself rewatching some of your opening shots bc I loved how they were filmed.
That means a lot! Thanks so much!
I love these "tips for..." videos! It really helps a beginner, like me, with photography/videography! :D Thank you!
So glad to hear that! Let me know if there’s anything you want me to cover!
Really great video for someone who is new in the trenches I’m trying to get comfortable with being on camera. Great to see the West Coast again from a Canadian living in Portugal.
That lighthouse shot at the start was amazing mate, nice work.
How much audio fits onto the rode wireless?
Loved this video mate, stuffed full of awesome tips. Will watch it again and make sure to take notes.
Binging your content since I got my XT4. Loving it!
Amazing! I'm so glad to hear that!
Thanks for the advice. I started my vlog journey earlier this year and this will help a lot. I still have a lot to learn.
Happy to help!
That fall into the chair in the end was slick as fudge! Also really great overall video 😊
Glad you liked it!! That was a fun one to do... 15 times in a row lol.
Great video thank you
Really a good and enjoyable video. Great content!
Thanks so much!
I subed for the tardis. But now I just love you for the pride sticker.
Haha 😂 wait til you get to my newest video and see my new non-binary pride tardis pin 😜
Great tips, thanks for this, very helpful as I figure out what the hell I'm doing. I'm outdoor filming on a GoPro for the most part, but use a Canon DSLR for segments speaking to the camera, but only if it's set up on a tripod. My lowest lens is 18 to 55mm, so it's too zoomed in (and not wide) at 18mm to hold the camera and talk, even with a handheld tripod (my head fills the whole frame). Next on the gear list is a lower and wide lens. Great tips all around, thanks!
I've been to Shirley numerous times and didn’t know about the lighthouse?🤦 Thanks for consistently making such effective, engaging educational content.
You gotta go see it! Just make sure you’re there before 4 lol 😂
thanks, this is really helpful :)
Glad it was helpful!
Great video for everyone who wants to grab a camera and do something meaningful with it! One of those videos you want to watch very early on ;)
I really appreciate it!
This was super helpful. One part of the process you mentioned that im scared of is the color grading. Any noob friendly guide?
🔥
bruh made this vlog more cinematic by putting on hiking boots, for a 7 minute walk down a clean, maintained path and sidewalk haha :P Just poking fun, but for real it adds to creating the storyline! Another great, and very informative video Dunna!
Haha... Next tip for making vlogs... sometimes you have to stretch things out a little just to give them a bit more interest 😜
haha makes sense ! Maybe one day we will run into each other around the Isle! Cheers

Great video
Thanks so much for watching!
I was thinking "These videos are so freaking amazing for only 319 subscribers. Then I saw the CZcams award and realized it is 319 THOUSAND subscribers!!"
Haha well I appreciate that you like the videos either way.
Good morning everyone! Love the early releases. Also, Dunna's helped me improve my content with his videos - hope it does the same for all of you!
Good Morning!! So glad to hear that my videos are helpful for you!
Dude! Big time, I constantly send your videos to new creators too! Three years ago I sat down in front of a computer determined to learn cameras and get a job in content creation. I watched your channel a ton! Glad to say I now work full-time as a content marketer & have freelanced for tv networks and sports leagues! THANK YOU DUDE! You probably don't hear often from the people you have helped, I truly appreciate you man! @@dunnadidit
That’s so amazing to hear! Thank you for sharing with me! You just made my day!
What backpack did you use in this video?
i hope my next vlog 96 a bit more professional nostalgic cinematic b-roll. hahaha thanks lovely vid.
I believe in you!
@@dunnadidit 🤭 thank you.
I need your help. I bought an Atamos for my Nikon Z9. How do you record the evf while shooting pictures. Every time, after I shoot 2 pictures, the Atamos stops recording. How can I make the Atamos continually record the evf even if I shoot 100 pictures ??? Thanks man!😀
Great and inspiring! Thanks for this. Will try to use the tips for my future family vlogs. One question: do you always dial in your exposure and white balance manually for every shot? I have been doing this lately, but some times find that I dont bother with a shot I should get. In a strange way I kind of miss my iPhone shooting days. Way worse quality, but looking back I got so much detail and variety because it was so fast to shoot. Your thoughts, tips and opinion on this would be highly appreciated😊
Glad to hear it was helpful! I do personally try to always set up my exposure and WB manually, but thats not always necessary... I'm just a bit picky about that stuff. And on top of that. I can be a bit loose about it if it means getting the shot. For the most part, if I'm outside, I'll set the WB to daylight and just go for it, even if the light is changing on me a bit throughout. But if the situation calls for auto mode, I say go for it if it's going to mean getting the shot!
@@dunnadidit Thank you for such a quick and detailed reply! It does get addicting to set it up right. I do film my 3 year old a lot, and love to be able to «get it right» everytime, but I think your point about going for it is great, because the shot is the most important sometimes. Then again, I do like the process of getting as fast as possible on getting the settings right. Its a balance I guess.
You got it! It’s all about balance!
How do you edit your Audio on DaVinci?
SUBBED 👌🙂
Did you actually shoot everything in slog and work on it in post?
Ok now do a redemption round and capture all the lighthouses haha
Haha spoilers!
Intention spelling error btw
