- Kate Phillips and Stuart Martin are interviewed for Alibi's Miss Scarlet and the Duke Season 3. Series three sees the return of Kate Phillips as the fearless female detective Eliza Scarlet, alongside Stuart Martin as her childhood friend Inspector William ‘The Duke’ Wellington. The series also stars Danny Midwinter, Ansu Kabia, Andrew Gower, Matthew Malone, Cathy Belton and Kevin Doyle. Scott Davis asks the questions.
Plot: Series three of Miss Scarlet and the Duke sees Eliza (Phillips) finding herself in fresh and surprising mysteries, ranging from a disappearing magician to police corruption, as she struggles to build her detective agency. Growing competition from a rival agency creates new problems, and all the while she is still juggling her relationship with Inspector William Wellington, the Duke (Martin). And she has a new challenge on that front: a beautiful woman from her childhood has caught the Duke’s eye.
Miss Scarlet and the Duke returns to Alibi on 11th April at 9pm, with all 6 episodes available on Sky, Virgin and NOW

This show is fabulous. I love the acting, the story telling , everything about it. I do hope Eliza and William will get together in season 5.

I loved this and would LOVE as Kate says to see Eliza have more comic moments. She is funny in a sly way but there are real untapped wells for comedy given how smart and stubborn these two characters are! Enjoy them SO much lets keep fingers crossed for a Season 5 !
Still my favorite TV show! Eliza & the Duke are the best characters! Stuart & Kate are fantastic in their roles. Looking forward to Season 4!
Only discovered this show very recently. Just got hooked straight away and now I'm knee deep into season 3. Long may the show continue as its fabulous ❤

My opinion too, he has a great smile and also has an angry face dealing with Eliza many times.
They need to bring the Duke back and it needs to be longer than 6 episodes a season, but LOVE the show
The best series.. but if season 4 comes and Stuart leaves the series, the interest will disappear. Because of them and the other actors I watch this series.💜

❤ The Duke aka William Wellington……can’t wait for S4
I absolutely love this show! I'm rooting for Eliza and William -- they're imprinted on each other and love each other, even if they don't know it yet. But the entire cast is flawless. I wish we didn't have to wait so long to see Season 4.

This is such a great show. I truly believe there are millions of fans who will be crushed if there is no season 5 and devastated if at some point Eliza and William don't come to the realization that they are destined to be together. True love needn't be sappy and maudlin. It can be a vibrant partnership.
I enjoy watching this show, especially the well-written script and character portrayal and scenes. Enjoy the banter between the 2 major characters, as well as all of the other characters like Ivy for instance. This show is refreshing, for a change.

I miss Henry Scarlet's ghost! I think Eliza's a little on the spectrum and a bit of a savant, but always charming and ever lovable.
Either they will have to go into business together, or because he is not liking SY any longer, he may have to find different work. She sees it as her father's legacy, and she needs this to fulfill herself. Will she ever marry him and give him the children he wants? I doubt it. By the time she is fulfilled, it will be too late to have children. Sad, because this gorgeous Scot needs children. Even if they go into business together, she doesn't want children and he does. How will this work?

Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia......The Duke and Miss Scarlet, of course they are blood relatives. Which means Miss Scarlet and Mr Nash tie the knot. Like the final scene from Casablanca; The Duke and Moses walk into the foggy night "...Moses, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful ...friendship?!"
