Deku loses to Asta even when Asta is so heavily nerfed oof. (And it’s obvious he’s nerfed when you think about the fact that the enemies he easily claps in that form are strong enough to obliterate not just a country but a whole continent in one swoop)

The result itself is accurate. Even if Deku uses all of his quirks and is in his prime, he still would have lost to Asta. Asta has fought opponents that can destroy entire countries, Dodged light while he was sleeping and is just overall more powerful. Black Clover operates at a higher level of power than My Hero Academia. My Hero Academia at best caps at country level while Black Clover us already beyond that.
Well, they could have noticed that the Deku in DB had died due to exertion and exhausted due to using his power at 100%... But hey, at least they didn't hear him scream before getting skewered by Asta's swords. Xd
One day(in the far future, i know) you could make MHA characters react to Black clover with Asta explaining them what happens(just like Spiderman and mr incredible did)
Actually the complete set of Mha death battle would be Deku vs Asta already done. All Might vs Might guy then Shoto vs Zuko then Bakugou vs Yang. Hulk and Broly are not Mha characters. Hulk is a Marvel character while Broly is a Dragon Ball character.

I think Death Battle is reliable(for the most part at least) but when they mess up they mess up big time and Hulk vs Broly was most definitely one of those mess ups.
Asta is vastly superior to Deku in literally everything, in the future of Black Clover Asta will become stronger than he already is, going from planetary/universal level to multiversal, and my god if that happens, there will be no one who can stop him.

One of the main reasons why asta still wins is because he has been a real protagonist since the beginning while deku became a real protagonist when he went rogue in season 7

While I agree that the fight looked epic, the death battle guys really downplayed asta's power, like, they nerfed him so badly i wanted to tear my skin off. There would be no concept of difficulty for asta if they were to fight, (SPOILER ALERT) all he'd have to do is pack him up like he did to palidin damnatio in the manga, and he wouldn't even have to form up. Base form is enough to take down deku, especially consdering the fact that asta actually has battle insticnts rather than "i've just gotta hit him really hard".

And he could have used his berserk mod or his calm berserk mod and he fought powerful buff giant's and fought shigaraki who can destroy a whole city with one touch
Think of it as spider sense. It doesn't give you enhanced reflexes, it just works like a mini alarm. Whether he reacts to the alarm depends on how fast he can get out of the way

My question is how can a main character die? Both Asta and Deku are main characters, they have crazy plot armor, for how this fight ended doesn't make sense Deku has plot armor and so does Asta for wouldn't it be a draw? Both keep bouncing back even after what damage was dealt to them.
According to the Death Battle Wiki, Deku’s lifeless body is a reference to when Peter Griffin falls down the stairs in Family Guy. I wish was making this up, but the resemblance is on point.
Okay here’s the thing. Deku is faster than the speed of light theoretically. With his newest and most powerful quirk, gearshift, deku can literally control how fast things move in space and time. He can also in theory increase his speed infinitely with gearshift for at least five minutes so for five minutes deku can move faster than the speed of light.
But here's the problem, deku without using gear shift is just speed of sound lvl. Whereas asta is already light speed so it would be completely impossible for deku to even touch him.
