    Please help. Is the bottom perimeter the same as the frame perimeter? Could this be set up flat against a wall?

    • @PTranProductions
      @PTranProductions  Před 4 měsíci

      With the support legs, the bottom perimeter should be 2 feet extra on every side.
      It’s not recommended to set against a flat wall and it won’t be possible for the pool to set against a flat wall due to the extended support legs

    Thinking about putting 12x24 in ground in our smaller backyard. Is it big enough for 5 kids at once?

    Hi, thanks for your video!
    I am new to Pools:
    If I wanted to have the filter set up be on the end of the pool - the 12 foot side (farthest from house) but closest to the Power receptacle - how should I go about extending the tubing to reach that far?
    Has anyone done this? Do I need to use a PVC pipe set up.

      You may check your local pool supply store. They may have the right length and size of tubing/hose for your application.
      I got mine from my local pool supply store and it was sold by foot.

    Amazing the pool has lasted this long? Looks great! Where do you live? You take this down every year? Your voice got a little low…What is the base underneath?

    • @PTranProductions
      @PTranProductions  Před 2 lety +2

      I am in South-Western Ontario, Canada. Yes, it gotta be put up and taken down every year due to the cold winter months. The base is poured concrete pad and Gorilla under-pad.
      The pool was sold this year because the kids have grown out of it. So I no longer have it.
      Thanks

    Is it because of the extreme temperature change into winter you decided to take your pool down every year?

    • @PTranProductions
      @PTranProductions  Před 11 měsíci

      That’s correct! Vinyl liner gets brittle below zero C and it’ll be a disaster if the liner breaks.

    I am debating with pool or the 24x52 round pool. Can you tell me why you suggest this pool if you like to host? I will like to build a deck around it. Right now my yard is 22 by 22. I am nervous because I don’t want that 12 side to be so narrow.

    • @PTranProductions
      @PTranProductions  Před rokem

      Rectangular pool is more fun to lap swim, especially for kids. Round pool does not have enough room to swim from end to end. For a 12x24x52 pool, you need a 16’ x 28’ base area. Your yard is 22 x 22 which would not be big enough for this pool.

      Yes, it’s the original sand filter that came with the pool. Only the skimmer is retrofit

    My question is, is 24” with arms or just the pool?

    • @PTranProductions
      @PTranProductions  Před rokem +1

      24’ is just the pool length. The arms/ legs extends 1 foot out from the wall which make the total dimension of the pool with arms/legs to be 14’ x 26’.

      They stretch out 13'10 at the width, and 25'10 at the length. This is directly from the Intex website.

    How far does the arms come out from the pool?

    • @PTranProductions
      @PTranProductions  Před 3 lety +1

      I suppose you meant the support legs. They extend about 16” at the bottom or roughly 12” from the top frame if drawing a perpendicular line down to the bottom.
      Basically if you are looking to build a base/foundation for this pool, add extra 2’ all around. I have a 16’ x 28’ concrete slab for this pool to sit on.

      A 16x28 concrete slab would be really expensive to have poured.
