    Excellent job to me. You were more thorough and directly to the point than any other architect I’ve seen on CZcams. Thanks. I’m a fan for life bro 😎

    Hey, appreciate the informative video! Learned a lot from it as an architecture first year student.
    Btw, do you mind explaining a bit more about the difference between massing and exterior elevations? As you said massing is more of the building envelope does it mean when presenting the massing we do not need to show the placement of windows and doors etc? Thank you!

  • @joes2085

    Good material. For a better presentation stick with one dark color. The entire right side of the board is washed out and almost impossible to read. Draw boxes around each category to show separation if desired.
    Practice suppressing the use of "ok" as you conclude each thought.
    NYC is the hardest place to get anything done.
    As a trade contractor I never new how much an architect is responsible for until I had to use one for my own project. I wish presentations like this were available 20 yrs ago.
    Keep up the good work.

    Hi sir, I'm thinking of doing an addition to my 2 family property in queens ny. Can you please tell me during what phase of the construction project does the building department visit your construction site?

  • @owurakuotchere-darko9392

    Good presentation and applicable to the traditional CAD workflow but within BIM/ IPD the construction documentation cannot be 40% because the process is integrated. Refer to the McCleamy’s curve.

      This was great, thanks, I been tryin to find out about "how do you develop a program management plan?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Tannilara Stupendous Transcendence - (should be on google have a look ) ? It is a great one of a kind guide for discovering how to getting 7000 plus project management and business templates without the hard work. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my brother in law got cool results with it.

    Bro... where have you been my whole life? I work in small firms and have had to increasingly take on bigger roles with elderly architects (that were more business dev. orientated) from a different generation, and sometimes I get a gutt feeling that I need more nuanced understandings of things like this. I can tell in project management that I am missing holes in my project workflow. Although much of this is upfront and already understood. Could you do a more nuanced approach of each phase?

    Hello, as-built drawing is in what phase ?

    • @bernardwind1633
      @bernardwind1633 Před 2 lety

      At the end of the project: drawings of what is actually built. This may vary from the Contract documents due to unforeseen site conditions - big buried rocks, or other factors may include a sudden shortage of materials etc. Buildability and capacity of the builder can also inform a different outcome to the Contract drawings that should be included as a net result in the As-built set of drawings
