What an excellent video and idea of giving people advice on where to snorkel. Love what you said about snorkeling.....The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.
Agreed, about how the snorkeling at Barcelo Maya spoils you. Nothing else compares for snorkeling quality right off the resort beach. Best bet is to go to the north end of the beach, out into the areas that the swimmers avoid.
Thank you for this video! I'm planning a trip right now to the Riviera Maya and on-site snorkeling is the #1 thing I am looking for. I could not understand which resort your #2 choice was... sounded like Grand Sernis but I do not know how it is spelled.
Never mind, I think I figured it out. Pretty sure it is Grand Sirenus you are referring to. Your video really helped me decide where to go. THANKS!!!!!!!!

Bahia Principe, Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya, Barcelo Maya all have good snorkeling from the beach
