  • Our perfect paper palm leaves are the ideal way to save you from the inevitable feeling that your house looks a bit bare after the festive period. Bringing the natural look to your home, paper palm leaves are a brilliant craft for those that crave something bright and relaxing in their home décor. In this tutorial, Corinne Bradd shows you the two basic techniques needed to make your own paper plants that will sit perfectly alongside natural pampas and other dried grasses.
    Those two approaches are concertina and cut, and concertina, cut and fold in half. They can both be mastered in seconds, and Corinne is here to guide you through every step of the way. She offers you a whole host of crafty tips for making these paper palm leaves, which can make great use of all the leftover bits of paper and card in your stash. This includes showing you the quickest method of securely fixing the leaves to small canes or wooden skewers. This allows you to display your fabulous paper palm leaves in a tall vase.
    If you have no space for a vase but feel the need for more leaves in your life, then you can easily punch a hole in the base of each leaf and suspend them from baker’s twine so they can be hung across windows. Our stand-out paper palm leaves are also a home décor dream as they can be crafted in any colour cardstock you choose, meaning that you can coordinate them with any room in your house. How delightful!
    In this tutorial, Corinne shows you how to fold and cut your paper palm leaves from scratch, but if you’d like a little help then why not download these FREE templates from the PaperCrafter website: www.papercraftermagazine.co.u...

    Love this!
    I use my sewing clips for holding knitted or crochet pieces together when joining seams. As well as holding bits of spare paper for notes. They're handy little things!

    _what kind of punch hole you have? where can i buy it?

    • @TheCraftsChannel
      @TheCraftsChannel  Před 2 měsíci

      It's a Crop-a-Dile multi hole punch by We R Memory Keepers and looks to be still available in good craft shops. you can use a standard leather hole punch but the one I use goes through multiple layers of paper very easily, c x
