      Maybe educate yourself better on what is real. Just because you never experienced the hate of satanic panic doesn't mean it was a conspiracy. I had a a woman who knew me from birth telling me she wished it was legal to burn witches still . She then took lighter fluid and tried to spray my feet. I said I would gladly die for being pagan like all my brave sisters before me. This was real for many of us. Not a conspiracy. Please do a little bit of research before blindly dropping videos. Three men sat in jail for years. But no. There's no such thing as satanic panic. Tell that to Damian Echols who sat in jail awaiting death because he was goth

    It still baffles my mind when I hear about people who believe the Earth is flat. I watched a documentary called "Behind the Curve" that was about flat-earthers, and in it a group of them conducted an experiment to prove the Earth was flat. It then completely backfired on them and they accidentally proved the Earth was round, and they were just absolutely stunned when it didn't work how they thought it would. I could just feel my brain melting when I saw that.

    The FBI was ALL over Dr. King tapping phones, placing bugs in hotels, shit like that. Even J. Hoover, the director at the time disliked King going as far as calling him a terrorist. With the Vietnam War going on, African+American communities were pissed that black service were sent there to die. The DOJ was afraid of King was organizing or even instigating a rebellion of followers to disrupt communities and going for the government itself. I guess i'll turn on the coffee maker and biscuits. He would have worried more about Malcom X or Elijah Muhammed starting a rebellion but there is a lot of evidence out there to make an open minded person to question whether or not James Earl Ray did it or did it alone... just like Oswald with Kennedy

    It should be noted that just because some of these beliefs are called "conspiracy theories" that doesn't mean they aren't true. For example, the MLK assassination conspiracy has credibility for several reasons. First, James Earl Ray recanted his confession after his first lawyer gave him incorrect advice based on the possibility of the death penalty. Ray fired that lawyer and a new lawyer pressed for more investigation but was denied. Ray was never tried for the assassination and spent the rest of his life in prison (except for a brief time out when he escaped and was later recaptured). Also, after a private inquiry into a possible conspiracy, the King family won a civil case in which a jury found a conspiracy to exist and awarded them damages. Before Ray died, Dexter King met with him and became convinced that Ray didn't shoot his father, and most of King's family believes that Ray was innocent and was made a scapegoat as part of a coverup. So it's not really an open-shut case.

      No, here's the thing about conspiracy theories: they are all designed to deceive using half truths and lies, but always with an element that appeals to a mentality that the theorist believes you may have. So, like a con artist, he throws a line out there, and reels you in.

    • @kdc-nb5fw
      @kdc-nb5fw Před 3 měsíci

      I don't think conspiracy theories are always meant to deceive, but often to try to make sense of something that doesn't sound right. Governments contribute a lot to that confusion with their secrets, especially if something is confirmed later. Sometimes people actually believe things that can't be true, and they spread the lies. Sometimes it is deliberately spread to get something from someone, like political gain, and sometimes it is to take attention away from the truth. Sometimes people are just looking for the truth when they know what they are told doesn't make sense. There are many reasons for conspiracy theories.

      WHICH theory about the JFK assassination? There are enough of them to fill the Library of Alexandria.
      Was he killed by the CIA who were angry over the Bay of Pigs? Was he killed by the Mafia because his brother had introduced strict reforms against organized crime? Was it done under Sam Giancana's order, after he supposedly rigged the he Illinois elections so that Kennedy would win, was upset now because of the tougher reforms (conspiracy theory within a conspiracy theory there)?
      Maybe you prefer the one Oliver Stone used, that the military-industrial complex was behind it, fearing the President would abandon South Vietnam to the communists, hurting their business. (Red Scare again!) Maybe the mastermind was Lyndon B. Johnson, who some thought feared would be dropped from the ticket in Kennedy's reelection; the Federal Reserve, who thought Executive Order 1110 was the beginning of a push to abolish them; the Cuban Exile community, who felt Kennedy had betrayed them at the Bay of Pigs (starting to see a trend here?); and on the flip side to that, Fidel Castro, who sought retaliation for constant attempts on his life.
      Or maybe you believe, as Oswald's widow does, that Kennedy was never the target at all, and that Oswald's true target was Texas Governor John Connally (who was also in the car) Oswald's motive being that he blamed Connally for being kicked out of the Marines.
      What I'm getting at, Isaac, is when you look at the whole mess as a whole, you realize they can't ALL be right. They conflict and contradict each other in several areas. They only agree on one thing: The Warren Report is a sham, and the government was lying.
      But to be frank, sometimes it seems like the Warren Report is the only account that makes sense.

Since the birth of conspiracy "theorism", the massive effect of the internet, and the fact that such notions have infiltrated the very pinnacle of government, the truth is now expendable.... Also why did building #7 collapse in on itself? The fire in that building was only on a few floors. Also please show me other buildings made if steel that burn for a few hours and fall . None.

      @@rebeccagreen2310 After 7 hours of uncontrolled fires, a steel girder on Floor 13 lost its connection to one of the 81 columns supporting the building. Floor 13 collapsed, beginning a cascade of floor failures to Floor 5. Column 79, no longer supported by a girder, buckled, triggering a rapid succession of structural failures that moved from east to west. All 23 central columns, followed by the exterior columns, failed in what's known as a "progressive collapse"--that is, local damage that spreads from one structural element to another, eventually resulting in the collapse of the entire structure.
      And yes - it was unprecedented.

      The gospels already did a good job in debunking it (by trying to preemptively discredit the official talking points that the disciples stole the body to make that claim).
      And strictly spoken the jubilee is only in about a decade or so (the crucifixion usually being dated to about AD 30-32).
