When I was young I didn't know how emotional was this scene. My elder sister cried for more than an hour I didn't know then but watching this movie again. Official remake of Hollywood movie "I AM SAM" acted by Sean Penn (Vikram) and Michelle Pfeiffer (Anushka Shetty). The climax is changed in the tamil version thus making it more emotional.
However, In the original Hollywood version, the lady barrister do register marriage with the hero in the last moment thus getting legal custody of the kid as a mother being his wife.

I was on tears watching this video. ...I am very proud of you Ken to take care of your children without any despair. Hats off! Yes, they show their unconditional love. My kid says always don't be angry Dadda... Happy face when she was 2 years old. Its the best film...I cried a lot when he started to say her daily routine and my mom convinced me that this ending is necessary for that child but still she couldn't control my crying..I was in 7the grade when I watched that movie.

Actually I remember the day when I saw this film...I was studying only 3rd and it actually caught me crying...especially the scene where Vikram bought curd rice for his daughter and couldn't see her as he was late and so he tripped and the curd rice fell...really I love Vikram because of his acting...really he should own an Oscar..not only for this but also for the film "I"..
