Okay so I need to clear some things up...
1. What is needed for this day I bought a stock 15 GT what mods (if any) do I need?
2. How does the tuning and that work and how do I get it and what does it cost?
3. Can the ghost cam tune be turned off on simply? Like can I ghost tune then go back to stock functionality in a cycle?
Peanutbutter Angeli 1. You don’t need any mods technically, all you need to do is buy a custom tune first from a company, then you can ask them for the ghost cam tune which is just a tune which gives you the sound only, now power gain or nothing just sound only.

3. Yes all you got to do is change tunes by using the handheld device they give you to tune your car, you can always change between tune files or go back to stock if you want.

Did you use this tune for long? Was wondering about how much fuel mileage one loses due to this tune? Does the tune cause fuel milage loss at cruising speeds or just at idle during the lope?
Multi68stang it does affect the gas but slightly. I didn’t keep it on for long, but it would eat a little more gas than normal with the ghost cam tune. And at driving speeds I believe it didn’t cause the mpg to go down, just on idling.
What’s your full exhaust setup bro? Mine currently has Pypes h-pipe and custom muffler delete, but i want it to sound this good. Also, aren’t those the stock wheels? Did you plasti-dip them or what?
REDЯUM 302 American racing Longtube headers, 1 and 7/8 Catless, Roush Axle back and x-pipe. Yes those are stock wheels just dipped them.
What all did you order with your ARH headers? I have never bought headers before and I want them to last for a while. I have borla atak catbacks.
BigOG TT I got the ARH Longtube 1 and 7/8 inch Catless off road setup from Summitracing.com. Or you can order it directly from there website, it should attach directly to your exhaust, you shouldn’t need anything extra, if you go on my channel, I have a full install video of the Longtube headers step by step.

Vicki Lawson just get a tune from a tuning company like Lund racing for mustangs and they offer the ghost cam tune.
No, you can’t cam tune a 3v. Only way is to buy actual cams. Look at FRPP cams, mutha thumper cams or Detroit rocker cams. Those three give you the hardest chops.

Sounds nice , but the low end jerking on take off , don't care for that at all ! My setup is Borla 3'' ATAK Cat-back W/ the X-pipe . ! I love the sound it's, loud over 3K RPM'S under 3K not to loud at all , unless its a cold start ! I see your JLT Oil Catch-can is a must 1st mod... !

Dude. This thing already screams. Roush is a good loud muffler. A delete would just sound like shit cammed. This is about as loud as it gets.
Do you need catless headers or will high flow cats be okay ?
Either is fine. Catless is better for E85 and different types of fuels, and especially if your pushing a lot of hp then catless is better. High flow is good cause you can pass emissions in some states, you won’t smell as much fumes of gas as you would in Catless when standing behind the car while it’s running.
Can you run a custom tune with this at the same time?
Trae Cummings yes, your custom tune would just be added on to the ghost cam tune.

No.. it’s called a ghost cam because it’s aftermarket cam sounds from the tune

Might be a dumb question but is a ghost cam bad for the car? If I get my truck sold I'd like to get a car for my next vehicle. Its between a 2014 Camaro zl1, 2012-2014 CTS-v or a 2015-current mustang gt. Whatever one it ends up being I'm gonna do headers, cam, exhaust, all the goodies. But just wanted to know if the ghost cam is bad for the mustang.
Derek Briggs the ghost cam is just a tune, not an actual cam, as far as my tuner told me, it shouldn’t harm anything on the engine as people daily drive on the tune itself.

Braulio P well you just get a custom tune from a tuning company like Lund Racing, VMP, Bama etc. and once you get a custom tune for your car, they can also provide a ghost cam tune which will make your car have the choppy sound only, doesn’t add power or anything else just adds the chop sound.

I have had many a cammed push rod motors, Ford and Chevy. The greater the lift, duration, and lower degree of separation ... the crappier they were at or near idle . That’s what they are designed for ... high RPM , not idle or off idle.

This is just my opinion but the Lund tuner is not a cheap option itself and for a little more money you can buy real cams and have the car tuned to it’s true potential on a dyno. Both options ain’t cheap but you’ll be a lot more happy with the outcome. Plus, real cams are gonna give you real power depending on what your trying to achieve. But hey it’s your money and your car so whatever floats your boat. Peace.
flyingrv6 yeah real cams are a good option but they don’t add enough power on the coyote 5.0 engine for the money your spending, plus you don’t get a choppy sound either. The Lund tune is 250 for a custom tune, and Lund provides the ghost cam tune for free.
Also if u get real cams the install cost a lot more than the price of the tune, and ur stuck with it, if u have a tuner I can change it on and off

Last Year when I moved back from Germany, I lived in an apartment complex and had a Challenger RT, Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, and a Corvette C7. . Not because I wanted to, or because of priorities but because of the housing Market.. kept getting outbidded on houses and wasnt paying anymore over 30k for the sellers asking price. . And all my cars are modded to hell. . Just saying. .
