  • David Wilkerson delves into Romans 5:1-5 to outline a Christian’s journey towards an enduring hope. He emphasizes that true hope comes from a deep, unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, which remains steadfast through trials and tribulations. David Wilkerson contrasts fleeting worldly hopes with the firm, eternal hope found in Christ. He encourages believers to find peace in their reconciliation with God, stressing that this hope is not merely an emotional feeling but a profound, Spirit-empowered path forged through patience and affliction. The sermon highlights the necessity of experiencing God's faithfulness through personal trials, cultivating a testimony that can inspire and uplift others in the faith.

I thank the Lord for these teachings from Pastor Wilkerson every day. When I’m struggling or asking the Father questions I always find the answers here. Yes I read my Bible but we need a pastor who speaks the truth of God to help us to know our Savior better. Some days you feel like you’re not going anywhere with the Lord. Thank You Jesus for this ministry. Bless each one that brings these messages to us. ❤

There is a ministry I've joined in with for seventeen years now, I don't know the times I've been downcast, unsure, and hurt, or upset or angry angry about something or at somebody and it never fails that when I turn them on that I am revived, restored, and corrected if needed and left with a brokeness before the Lord, contrite in my spirit, and weeping with Thanksgiving in my heart towards Christ.
I don't pin flowers on men but rather the message. Please listen to or watch Sonlife Broadcasting Baton Rouge La.

Hope is not a FEELING, it is a path, Amen! I pray that through our trials and tribulations we turn to the Lord and rejoice, for everything is done according to His will. Hope is about wanting to live, yes Amen! I pray that I become that witness, may my Savior give me the Heart of the Father. I pray that whatever you are going through you leave everyhting at the foot of the cross. In everything give God all the Glory and adoration! I do desire to be with my Savior but I know that God has put me here to witness to as many as possible. Be that witness today. 💛

My life was not always easy and I'm not a perfect man but by GOD I stand for the hope that not in my power but in his grace I shall not rest before all goodness has been filled in me. I stand at the door O GOD and knock will thy come and dine with me, my cup is empty, fill my cup O GOD with thy spirit, make me a worthy vessel onto your spirit that I may be full even onto the brim. My life shall be complete when thy will be made O GOD.
O GOD bless and sanctify everyone that read this so that we may be full together in the name of Jesus Christ. May love and mercy abide with you always.
    Glory be to GOD AMEN

Pastor Dave brings some things that make you go-huh ?🤨
    ( And makes me smile).😀
    What do I mean?
When he says" if you have experience,God doesnt want you in heaven?"
It sounds crazy- but you get what he means. Our experiences are needed here to help others.
(Its just like when he said," the devil doesnt want a Christian dead". Not to hasten us on our way to heaven. He wants to make us miserable).
    Oh,what teachings!
He gives new meanings to many things.
    That " hope" indeed.
    This resurrects your hope!
And that is what the Resurrection is all abt, isnt it? HOPE, HOPE HOPE.
Jesus suffered through His suffering- pain- and resurrected to give us hope.
    Pain is not the end.🌹

Pastor Tim hits the mark. When I first saw him, honestly, I judged him. The Holy Ghost instantly checked me and forcefully said, "You pray for him."
I offer you the possibility that we as the body don't really pray like we should for our ministers. Our prayers are the wood and fire under these men of God. If they aren't blazing, I'm certain a portion of guilt rest upon us. I pray God breaks us with this truth and brings about appropriate prayer from the body for one another.

Many years ago I heard a message on cassette tape from Pastor Wilkerson called "Resurrection in the Here and Now." It was so very powerful and profoundly affected my life. I've been hoping that someday it would be posted on CZcams. He mentions that message at around the 15:57 minute mark of this one. Please post "Resurrection in the Here and Now" if you have or can find it.

This is the message of what the Cross has done. The message I know David Wilkerson preached the best. There are some Christians who perversely like Bro Dave’s condemning messages of long ago that he regretted and repented of later in his life.

@@cericeborrelli3404 Although I cant say specifically which one ( where), I am pretty sure I came across one in which he did. I havent listened to a great great many ,kept the titles in my head- it was mostly from randomly stumbling on them. But I can rembr two times at least in which he made confessions.
One was him speaking to condemning past members/ associates without giving them a chance for vindication.
Another was him confessing that after being invited to speak somewhere, his message was more personal than fitted to the needs of the audience.( I believe he said he spoke on marriage- I think he was trying to justify his own mistakes in such- and the audience was young men that needed a different message). Pardon me on the incomplete thoughts, but this is to say that I believe his heart was genuine, even if he did go abt it all wrong in the beginning.( If I rembr correctly,I believed I heard Billy Graham admitted he too did the same thing? It may be that the full understanding of grace that is now being revealed was not fully their potion then?)
For me, if a pastor repents of wrongdoing AND changes his ways, I reckon it says a lot abt his heart.
Ps: I saw a video once abt an interview with Billy Graham. How he confessed that one time he came off the stage- after preaching what he thought was so fantastically- but few people came forward. He was puzzled until one of his associates told him " you didnt mention the Cross". He vowed never again to preach without mentioning the Cross!
(Please note, I'm not trying to embarrass these men. Just sharing abt the importance of honesty in/to the Kingdom).

@@cericeborrelli3404He said he came to this understanding in one of his sermons… it’s at the closing/last part of the sermon.
The original comment was a little hard to read, so I’ll say it this way. Basically David realized he had almost been too hard on sin in a condemning way against others and finally realized he needed to focus more on God’s love.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard or will ever hear a more anointed preacher.
