This video has had such a great impact on my life. I found it 4 years ago when I was 14 and my dream was to go to Cambridge. It kept me pushing through hardships and exams. . 4 years later, I am now in my first year at Cambridge and I keep coming back to this video when life knocks me down. This video helps me keep going. My dream is to become a film director one day. I hope that I can come back here in a few years and see how far I've come in achieving yet another dream.

I know you waited long for this one. I'm not doing videos so often like 2 years ago but trust me, I'm ALL IN when I'm in the process. I put my tears, sweat, blood, time, effort. I must watched this over 20 times by now. I've been homeless. I've been locked up. I've lost plenty of friends, girlfriends... Had a falling out with my father.... and yet... This just hit me like a brick. I'm not where I need to be yet. But I'm getting there. I have a wonderful job now. A decent apartment. Love from my family... That "light" had never felt so good on my skin as it does now. Thank you for this.

Just giving an update from my cancer battle 1 year later. I am in remission and still have some bad days but I am currently starting a new job and getting on with my life.

6 years ago… I used to listen to this when it came out. Had just started medical school after years of dreaming to get there. Overwhelmed, feelings of being an underdog, disadvantaged family… hoping one day I could make myself proud. In 6 weeks I finally become an attending physician. It still gives me chills thinking of that kid who dreamed big years ago and here I am fulfilling my own promises. Thank you.
My guy,/girl I feel you with this so much and can relate- same story- disadvantaged family and underdog, except i was doing accountancy.. and now i have everything i need..6 years to 6 figs, international job, everything...just a kid who was just dreaming. Love to hear these stories, and whenever you feel trials- think about that kid /person 6 years back- who you fought hard for- the past self, you cant let that person down.

I remember listening to this 2 years ago when I was 18. I didn't know what to do with my life, I was lost. This video litterally changed everything and changed me as a person. I'm about to start my second year of Physics at the University while I had no idea on what to do with my life before. Maybe in 10-15 years my dream of being a great scientist will become true. I first listened to this 5 years ago. I was in my final year of school and preparing for exams in 10 months. I listened to this video every single day when I got up at 5 a.m to study before school. It gave me a drive and struck a spark inside of me. Now I’m doing a master’s degree in Electronic Engineering. I came back to this video because tomorrow I’m starting my placement as a Software Engineer at a huge international company. New challenges ahead, but this video will always give me that same spark.

@@BrainDonors Funnily enough, I finished the master’s degree with a top grade (it was hard but very enjoyable) and on Monday next week (I’m writing on a Saturday) I start as a full-time software engineer in the same company I listed above. I enjoyed the placement I mentioned thoroughly and can’t wait to get back !

Back after 5 years. I listened to this when I was designing my own parts in community college. Now, 3 weeks away from completing my masters degree in one year, after 3 manufacturing engineering internships while having a full course load, and now having a manufacturing engineering role waiting for me after graduation.
I was typing a little self motivational passage right now in notes to calm some anxiety with a phrase that rang so true to me while studying for my comprehensive exam “do it, do it, alll the way, ALL the way.” I had to come back watch this again.
I have always developed my own designs, which I machined myself and have sold around the world. And the “there is no other feeling like that, you will be alone with the Gods, and the nights will flame with fire” has always spoke so truly to the artist within.
I hope the best for anyone reading this, against all odds, you can do it.

Now as I’m now reaching to 22 years of age, I’d say I’m at my highest point in life. I’m happy, wish I can tell my younger self to push on a little more. This video helped me, thank you and I won’t go down.

Do not. DO NOT. Doubt yourself. It took me a while. I would continually think that I was good in some aspects, but was below par in others. We are all at that point. We can improve in some aspects. But the key here is doubt. Experience and persistence is the only way to reach success. Doubt is simply a lack of confidence due to what you perceive to be a poor habit or ability. There is no reason to have that lack of confidence. EVERYONE sucks at EVERYTHING they have no experience in. In the past I would doubt my ability to complete certain tasks, even though the ultimate goal was to improve. Doubt would hinder my progress. Practice and failure will lead to success. There is no reason to doubt. It's a waste of time. You might be certain to fail, but doubting future success and improvement will just make the wait longer. You WILL get there. But beating doubt is not the way. Doubt will hinder you. Failure IS the way. THE ONLY way.

A year ago I was jobless and seriously depressed cause I couldn't find ONE job and all I wanted to do was work and move out my parents then I saw these videos and I kept pushing myself harder every day looking for jobs for hours and I finally got one and a year now I work two jobs and doing pretty well on it but now I'm struggling with paying school loans and other payments but I know I can find a way to dig myself out that cause of YOU . Keep going cause you're changing many lives and I can tell you that cause I'm ONE OF THOSE LIVES , thank you

To get to this kind of mindset you typically have internal adversity, whether your parents drink, you don't have a shelter, sacrifice gives you a feel of soverntry in the long run so just remember, what ever adversity you have, it's a gift, because it plants the seed that will prosper to greater heights. This video will always bring me to tears. There’s nothing more painful, yet wonderful than our own personal growth.
I'm not even exaggerating when I say this video helped me get out of a low time in my life 6 months ago. I was stuck playing a really hard game challenge (Ninja Gaiden Sigma Unearthed trial 4) which took me over 12 hours to beat. I remember wanting to give up but I saw this video and it ignited a fire in me to never give up. I eventually passed the challenge and life just got better. The quote that has always stuck with me is "You are marvelous the gods wait to delight in you." Now I'm doing so much better - Thank you Mateusz for being the catalyst that changed my life.

Found it quite some time ago. And I still end up in tears up to today. Now with more resources of the mind, more wisdom, but still with the same drive. To go deeper. To achieve greater. This video has helped me a lot, dealing with rare episodes of anxiety and depression, I've pushed many people away and being a perfectionist I set standards that are far beyond reach. I used to think I was alone but in the end none of us are alone.. As hard as it sounds that one call for help, can help a lot.

Zawsze wszyscy mówili mi jesteś zdolny, ale możesz być lepszy, czemu się nie postarasz? A ja odpowiadałem Tak jestem zdolny i odchodziłem z uśmiechem. Wtedy wpadłem na ten kanał i zacząłem się rozwijać, z osoby przeciętnej stałem się najsilniejszą fizycznie osobą w szkole(gimnazjum) i zostałem finalistą olimpiady biologicznej, stałem się pewny siebie, nie boje się podejmować decyzji, ale przede wszystkim ponosić za nie konsekwencji. Dzięki Ci nauczyłem się że porażka wcale nie jest zła, jest nawet cenniejsza od zwycięstwa. Nauczyłem się myśleć pozytywnie i zapalać innych ludzi. Teraz poszedłem do liceum i obiecuję wszystkim tu obecnym że będę się starał każdego dnia być lepszym, codziennie budzić się nową bestią. Jeszcze raz naprawdę bardzo dziękuję. Pomogłeś mi stać się osobą którą zawsze chciałem być.

I used this to survive in a job (work with sleddogs) where I worked 12-18h a day 6days/week without getting paid, I Wanted to give up everyday but succeed to survive the whole winter.

A lot changed since I saw this first time, I got a great job (besides failing grades, and every wrong thing happening with me), went abroad for further studies (at a great university, which I never thought was possible), started earning here (doing an internship as I write this) all dreamed by a boy from small town in a 3rd world country. Moving further everyday, small step at a time, I cannot describe how grateful I am of the universe (god, energy, call it whatever you will) and so happy that I am almost crying. Thank you for this, you (who made this video) have no idea how many people's lives you touched across the world. Take a bow. May you be happy and fulfilled in whatever you are doing right now :)

My life is not going well nowdays and today i saw this video and i want to write something in my future life. I was an entrepreneur 3 month ago but i had to leave because i have to work for the financial problems. I am a software developer, 15 days ago I turned 20. I spent 2,5 years for my own project, but it didn't go well. For my own project i learned software, i spent my all money, i didnt go university but i couldnt be successful people are thinking i give up. Now i am trying to finding job but also this is not going well companys dont back to me. I am feeling so bad but i believe good thing come with difficulties. I hope i can find a job and fix my financial problems and I can be successful in my project. Note on my future life: Dont give up, dont think much, save and invest your mony, dont stop when you develop your self just go and push your self your are gonna be successful.

I came across this beautiful masterpiece last night on New Year's Eve of 2019 and immediately connected with it. I walked in the cold and in solitude for hours with it playing from my cellphone in my pocket going right to my earphones, just listening to this on repeat. I've watched it a handful of times today as well. It sits here, nudging me, daring me to pursue my greatness and to increase my impact. It is forcing me to compare my complacent comfortable life to what I should be chasing. Comparing things to what I should be willing to do to leave a legacy that matters. I can't tell you enough about how fantastic this video is. I may literally play it every single day to keep me on track.
