Took my dad to see him in concert in San Antonio, back in 2001, and it is something I will never forget. I'm thankful I was able to take my dad, that was a Father's Day gift that year. ❤

I LOVE George Strait! When I met the Love of my Life back in 2001, I had to fly back to Oregon to get my car and things from an Ex ( we are still friends). Anyways, while my Love was driving me to the airport the song " Write this down" came on. It became OUR SONG ❤. My Love passed away suddenly in Dec. 2008. At his funeral as people were walking by saying last goodbyes, I had that same song " Write this Down" playing. It now has double meanings but will always be ours. Love You George, you're a Legend!!

King George is no doubt the very best country artists ever. Period. I've met him years ago twice. He is a very down to earth person. But what alot of people don't know is George straight is a real cowboy. He's a very good team roper. That's why he has been so successful, he's not faking it like a lot of the wannabe city boys and girls making country music that is not really country music. It might be good music but most of it is soft rock R.B. and other types of music.
Country Music died when George retired he's the best that ever done it.
I will always love hearing George Strait sing. And I love that he is such a good family man and handles fame very well. So many entertainers can’t say that. I not only love to hear him sing, I have very much respect for him.
