- We actually had to go somewhere today! It was in Cardiff, actually, but we were just mostly passing through it on a train and didn't get out to explore the city centre at all, but anyway, I fancied taking you along for the ride.

I'm Imo and she's Izzy. We're a UK mother and daughter vlogging combo that loves to get out and about and exploring South Wales and beyond.

Ah yes. I had my day of not filming on Monday - I stayed in my PJs all day and edited two videos!! It was heaven!
Thanks for the lovely train ride.. I needed that. I have only been on a train 2x in my life. Once when I was 15, and then about 10 years ago. That's it. My life is so exciting.. hahaha. The LRT (light rapid transit) goes into the bigger cities.. but I have no desire to go shopping there. I'm not really a shopper. I wear my clothes till they get threads, and then I go to my local thrift shops to stock up again. My mom was very frugal that we would say she could squeeze a nickel and make the Queen sing.. I now find myself doing the same.. hahaha. Thanks for sharing.. have a lovely week. Hope you get to find some more trees.. 🥰

Maybe you could slow down the footage and spot trees from the video? You have me guessing now, is that an elm? I love trees and hope you spot more soon. I wish we had trains here. There are many tracks nearby but no station in town. Years ago there were at least two.

Wellllll... it's honestly a mixture of ages. The outer body is about 4 and a half years old. It was a £650 laptop new, when I bought it, but my other half and also a computer repair shop technician has upgraded it with lots of extra memory etc over the years. I've literally just had another £65 component come through the post from eBay today that IB will fit next time he comes, which should make it almost twice as fast again. But it will be up to its upgrade capacity then. I think my next major upgrade will be a PC because apparently, you can get a faster machine for the money that way, but then I'll keep the laptop for out and about use. Thanks, Ieuan! :¬)

Cheers! Sony handycam FDR AX43. I’ve been watching a gazillion tutorials on colour correction and been spending ages colour correcting the footage lately using on screen colour graphs. It’s my current focus area. I tend to try to focus on one area to improve at a time and colour is the current mission. Thanks for noticing. ;-)
Skin tones are a challenge but I’ve recently learned to isolate a bit of skin and colour specifically to that area.
I’d be after a refund for the railcard if you’ve been told to stay at home!
