What I found in the internet about Brasilian Nuts:
"In addition to the high protein and fat content - up to 70% - the Brazil nut also has a very high proportion of minerals (calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, selenium and zinc) compared to other nut species. It is the largest plant supplier of selenium.
However, it also stores barium and natural radioactive substances (such as radium-226 and radium-228).
According to the Federal Office for Radiation Protection "Brazil nuts can have around 1,000 times higher radium contents than the total food in Germany."

One single Brazil nut provides more than 100% of your daily needs for selenium, making it an ideal way to get enough of this vital mineral in your diet (3Trusted Source).
Nonetheless, due to their exceptionally high selenium content, it’s best to limit your intake to one to three Brazil nuts a day to avoid consuming too much of this mineral, which may have negative health effects.

wow ... I actually thought you were a legit poster just discussing price. Then I saw how much you're spamming the other comments with stuff like "She gives bad nutritional advice and promotes pseudoscience" ... you're such a deceiver. If you think she's giving bad advice and pseudoscience, you're obviously only here to troll.

@@vespeneprotoss4346 I replied to only one other comment. I don't see how that's spam. And I'm not here to troll. I like her recipes and I like her, but this is expensive and she shouldn't give medical advice. I can appreciate her recipes and like her while also acknowledging that she isn't a registered dietician or very in touch with the budget of most people. It's okay to acknowledge someone's strengths and weaknesses without being a troll. I have enjoyed her raw dessert recipes a lot, but I also understand science and budget. You can do both.

How long does the homemade nut milk last in the fridge? Also does storing in a mason jar help it to last longer - or is a carton better to store?
