Muncie 21 long tail close box 4 speed form a 68 pontiac, Dana 60 430 locker, strange axles, Wallace aluminum driveshaft. Custom made traction bars, Hedman Long tube headers,Flowmaster two chambered muffler NASCAR custom-made exhaust tip Dual quads, Completely balanced and blueprint, no expense spared best of everything! Over 1000+ hours just to make the body. X mount of hours in the motor alone, more videos to follow when interior comes in. You wont find one like this in Jay Leno"s garage. 2 'narrowed Dana 60 ,430 locker Wallace ultra lit drive shaft ,MR 5Speed m-21 close box, head all tricked out and shaved 100th,zero decked the list goes on and on ,

Its vey close now to completion !!! interior done, Roll bar hoop finished now just fine trimming on that, Complete new wiring harness from painless , although its not a job for the meek ! I scraped the complete harness ,and the replace will be identical to a late 60s ,earley 70s GM set up, 60 hours into the harness ,probably another 30 to 40 to go ! Also keep a heater and defroster, and changed out the heater blower motor form a 90s Honda , Its pushes air 3X the speed as the original old one ! side glass is Lexan , I made the gaskets from the same as the windshield rubber, I probably have 25 -30 hours in the fabrication of the quarter glass from concept to completion ! I would say close to 1000 hours in the body and paint alone !!! Race ready we estimate 3550 LBS , should go low 12s

I have an obsession with these engines. What is done to yours? What kind of carbs you got on there?
Running two 450 holleys that I’m tuning now , has a bad bog around 2000 and feels like it flattens out, I had dynoed it with a MAN A FRE 3X2 450 CFM Rochesters had a carb go bad on the dyno so I had this , made 373 HP AND 418 on torque , I’m gonna put orange cams on the primary’s so if that clears it up or go back to the tri power if I can find a genius to modify the Rochesters
I Had three complete set ups, # One Was a 3 X 1 Offy intake with three NOS matching Rochester carbs jetted all done with adjustable progressive linkage, very trick but that set up is maybe 600CFM, So I got a Man-A-Fre Ultra rare NOS with 3 Rochester 2 jets ,this is direct injected no plenum so 1 carb feeds two cylinders independent of the other two carbs .1958 Pontiac carbs. However the carbs were shit ! and after two pulls it was done, so I had a complete brand new Dual Quad set up with Holley 450s That made better power but lean as hell !!! I had to go up 9 or 10 jet sizes. same with the squirters 34 to 45 W/tubes and orange cam on the throttle, woke this sleeping beauty up !! But I think the Tri Power set up right would pull better , Vintage Speed has my Carbs , hes building me 3 custom matched 2-JETS.

My 292 sounds like that people think it's a LS SBC MOTOR 😂 YES MY 292 HAS A SET OF BALLS ITLL GET DOWN WITH THE NEW GTOS SUPRA WITH THE Granny TRSNISSION THE AMOUNT OF TORQUE IT HAS IVE BUSTED 2 GM 373 REAR END 2 60 2 DANA 80 SO I PUT CHEVY 4X4 SILVERADO 342 GEARING DOES GOOD
I built the drive train with the best of parts and all machine work , was done by seasoned experts with 40 years plus on custom builds , the best dyno pull was 383 Hp & 418 Tq ! 9 years I’m building this , the body probably had 1000 hours of fabrication alone !!! And tracking down parts took hours ! No more local speed shops around ! I waited 4 months just for the cam !!
@@braddenning1617I bought my truck from a man who's dad worked at a Ferrari dealer in norther California he said they did work on it back in 1985 but doesn't know what was done to it i bought my truck in 2012 and still running strong compression 190 psi all 6 pistons i have not yet have a problem motor was done in 1985 and is my daily driver up to this day

How do you expect to stop and steer it with those bicycle tires on the front?
No problem. front drums are 64 super lark drums rears are ford kit on a narrowed Dana 60 ,I just put coker vintage style front radials basically VW size , on 4.50 inch steel wheels, rears are M/T DOT drag radials, the car is steady and solid at 120 mph !!!! Rides perfect and stops straight and smooth. Turns or high speed handling is not this car, its predictable. Not a road race car , very streetable .

Ill steer through it with the throttle and counter steer ,or just stop if there's room,, However you will probably wreck. @@frankschwartz7405
@@braddenning1617 You can't "countersteer" or stop with no front tires.
That's probably why most drag crashes happen. Real race cars have big front tires for that very reason.
