Actually seeing some competetive play with gimmick puppets just makes me happy. I just love the Zexal Archetypes.
Having one of the best rank levels to go into really helps the deck as well!
Fr Chronomaly, Gimmick Puppet, Battling Boxer, Heraldic Beasts… are the coolest things in yugioh. And numbers were genius
@@matteogaspari9931 Yeah, Number Monsters were the best. I especially love the chaos number mechanic, but sadly they are not that good for todays standarts. But that still doesnt keep me from playing barian sharks.

Nice video, Sam. You have also given me some tips for my Gimmick puppet deck. I would like to see you play Vendreads or Shiranui in a future video. I like both of these themes in concept so much, and I would be excited to see what kind of take you would have on these decks.

you know the thing with this game is that it's hard to even make a similarly consistent deck without "maxx-c" or or "trade-in" or "bigfoot", "machine dup" or just those very good cards that allow you to have only the needed cards in your deck without the extra ones . i have to get as many combo card as possible in my deck and hope I don't get an awful hand and can't do much. or get instantelly negated by a maxx-c or ash or even worst my archnemesis "call by the grave"
There should be bonus points for playing the Maxx C challenge

Ive built this deck almost exactly a few years ago when gizmeck orochi was released. Super fun, just wish it was strong enough. Gimmick need a new rank 8 XYZ really badly. Something that can destroy spells and traps. Their draw spell from the anime would be nice as well. Its bad but at least would boost consistency a little more

I used to play this deck and against competitive decks it kinda shut down
I run a D/D Deck and when that guy sent Necro Slime, he bricked 100%. Either that or he doesn't know how to build a D/D Deck. Should've sent either Slime or depending if he has Newton in hand a Dark Contract card, preferably Gate so he can add the D/D monster he needs.
