When pulling a vacuum on an existing system, will remaining refrigerant oil in the tubes affect your vacuum reading? In my mind the oil will evaporate just like water and ruin your vacuum reading?
If you put nitro before you put pessured ,full ope valve on high side..then slowly open nitro regulator. .up to 150 psi.. check me if im wrong..then you see the low side .going up..to 150 psi . Then closed the nitro.

@@deenibeeniable p1v1= p2v2 Where P1 is pressure in atmosphere ,V2 is volume you want to calculate, P2 pressure read by gauge and V2 is water capacity of the cylinder. For a gauge reading 1000psi , the volume of gas should be 1000*40(water capacity)/14.5
Couple hundred dollar regulator? Jeez.. unless you got a flow regulator with the whole float ball and comes with purge valve and over pressure releases.. i paid 35$ for my double gauge regulator.. works great..

So the regulator is closed when it spins freely, not back seated counter clockwise? Also, is there a relief valve after the regulator?

All nitrogen tanks have the same thread.. just like all oxygen tanks have reverse thread..
tightening (closing) the valve, increases the regulated pressure?? 🤔… shouldnt it be other way round as closing the valve kills the pressure

How do you tell how much gas is left in the tank?
By checking the reading of pressure gauge on right side that read 2000psi
