- This loop trail in Sedona, Arizona features a cave, "sacred" pools, and the largest sinkhole in the Sedona area!
The Brins Mesa - Soldier Pass Trail utilizes segments of four different trails to create a loop hike with stunning views of the red rock formations Sedona is famous for. In addition, the Seven Sacred Pools and Devil's Kitchen sinkhole are located along the trail, and a short side trail leads to the Soldier Pass Cave and arches!

Incredible views for sure. Thanks for sharing.
Sedona is definitely full of those incredible views! Appreciate you taking the time to follow along! ✌
Great video,😄😄😄 congratulations! and have a nice day 👍😀
Nice Hike. The sinkhole is huge!
Definitely one of the bigger sinkholes I've had the chance to see up close! Thanks for taking the time to follow along! ✌️
I love the contrast of the red earth and the blue sky..today the clouds gave such a beautiful atmosphere..the cracks/cave in the rock very interesting, every form of nature is unique and special..nice trekking 😊👏22👍
Most of the time I spent in this area was bright and sunny, so it was definitely interesting to see a different atmosphere with the clouds. The red rock was still equally beautiful, though 🙂 Thanks so much for taking the time to follow along!
That was a pretty cool looking trail. That sinkhole was pretty big.
One of the bigger sinkholes I've seen! Maura yelled at me for getting so close to the edge 😂 I'm traveling for the rest of the week, but I've been working on an idea for an IAT backpacking trip. I'll reach out to you when I get back ✌️
These trails had amazing mountain views, love the red rock!! :)
This was definitely one of my favorite trails in Sedona! Thanks for taking the time to check it out! ✌
Good hikes friend. Great as always.
Thanks! Always appreciate you taking the time to follow along! ✌️
Great loop hike. I love those red rocks of Sedona and the Sinkhole is impressive 👍☺️
Sedona is a pretty amazing place, even if you need to watch where you step, at times 😁 Thanks for taking the time to follow along! ✌️
Wow! That looks very nice place for hiking! Lots of love and respect from a solo mountain hiker friend from the Hindu Kush Mountains Lower Chitral District of Pakistan!
Good hike. The devils kitchen looked really interesting
It was definitely cool... And one of those things where the camera doesn't really do it justice. It was huge! Thanks for taking the time to follow along! ✌️
It's definitely a beautiful area. There are so many places to see. It's nice that you can get 3 in one here.
Narrowing down what I wanted to see was one of the most difficult parts of the trip! I squeezed four hikes into three days, so I definitely tried to maximize my time 😂 Appreciate you taking the time to check it out! ✌
Fascinating and evocative almost surreal area... Sedonia is famous for the Vortexes where the energy of the earth concentrates and comes out of the magnificent red rocks.👍👍👍👍
Sedona is definitely a beautiful and fascinating place! I did a couple of the vortex hikes (the airport loop and the Boynton Canyon Trail) while I was there 🙂 Thanks for taking the time to follow along on this one! ✌️
Great loop hike! Such pretty colors and interesting rock formations! I like how they line the trail with rocks so you know to stay on trail. Cool features, especially the sacred pools and sinkhole. It would be great to be there when the river is flowing or it has rained recently. Yikes, the sinkhole looks really sketchy… those boulders are huge. Enjoyed the hike and narration, thanks Mike! 👌☀☀ - Jen
This was a great hike to see some of the variety in those iconic red rock formations! Thanks for taking the time to check it out! ✌ I found the trails to be very well marked, and I saw those "baskets" of rocks used on at least a couple of different trail systems around Sedona. I thought it was a good idea to help differentiate the authorized vs. unauthorized rock stacking. And I assure you I didn't get any closer to that sinkhole, nor spend any more time near it, than I had to 😂
Wow, what a unique and beautiful trail! Seven Sacred Pools sound very interesting. Thank you for taking us along on this cool adventure. Holy growing sinkhole!! 😲
It was a pretty cool hike! I preferred the Brins Mesa side, as it was much quieter... Sedona is kind of a day hikers' paradise 😂 And I didn't spend any more time next to that sinkhole than I needed to get the shots! Thanks for taking the time to follow along ✌️
This looked like an awesome hike - maybe even worth sitting in traffic for 😀Love the red color of the rocks and so neat that those little pools hold water even during the dry spells. Was impressed with how big that sinkhole was.
I'm definitely not a fan of sitting in traffic 😂 Honestly, I'm not sure I'll be in a big rush to get back to Sedona, but I am definitely glad I got down there to see it. The landscape was definitely impressive, and there were some cool things to see that we don't really have in the Midwest. Thanks for taking the time to follow along! ✌
Such a beautiful area. I'd love to go back and try some more hikes. We did Boyton Canyon with the Subway Cave while we were there. Love that red rock! Thanks for sharing!
Definitely a beautiful area and worth visiting! It's a little crowded for my taste, but I certainly understand the appeal! I did Boynton Canyon, as well... enjoyed the scenery on the Vista Trail and that last little scramble up to the Subway Cave 🙂 Thanks for taking the time to follow along! ✌
@@OutOnTrail yeah it is a bit crowded 😆 Worth it, but I also like the quieter trails.
What an awesome-looking trail; we have nothing like that up here. Maybe in southern Alberta, but I've never been. The echoes were attention-getting! The 7 sacred pools were interesting from a geological perspective and Devil's Kitchen was simply stunning. One of your best videos yet! _ Daryl
It doesn't look much at all like the part of the country I live in, either... One of the reasons I so enjoy visiting 😁 Thanks for taking the time to follow along and for the kind words, Daryl!
