i want to argue that this is why America must not scale back in their global involvement, this is the vacuum it left behind and there is no better country in the world to preserve that freedom of trade and navigation.

As a Sri Lankan, many of us agree it was utterly shameful to see our leaders sell out to the Chinese. It was all caused by our Government corruption and leaders having a strong friendships with Chinese officials that blinded them into taking such deals. We all hope that other countries see the consequences of our actions as a cautionary tale when dealing with other countries.

Not going to happen. China is no long the low cost producer. They have or are in the process of losing most of their export market. They don't have a Navy with the ability to protect their own trading choke points. Let alone patrol the Worlds Trading Routes. Their economy is collapsing, soon, very soon, they will be falling off the economic clift. They are now falling behind in AI Technology. They are about to revisit the early economic history of the 1970's. All because they made their move, too soon. All they had to do, was bide their time for another 15 to 20 years. Maintain the deception of cooperation; but they just had to jump the gun. But at least they can said, they did it their way, Economics "With Chinese Characteristics."

How do they go back to rice farming? One thing people don’t realize is that the factories in China are owned by the Chinese and not foreigners. China themselves has a consumer market of 1.4 billion people which is more than the United States and Europe combined. They lent billions of dollars to developing countries around the world so they will have no problem getting raw materials and food imports for years to come. The Chinese are finishing 1st in the math and physics Olympiad.

This is extremely interesting! As an Australian living in Greece, I was horrified to hear about Chinese tentacles reaching so many different countries. I knew China had a share of the port in Piraeus but didn’t realize it had such a major share. Hearing at the end of the video that the world is waking up to China was reassuring. Thanks for your work in putting all this information together.

Correction in one or two places was required before drafting the script. That's okay though. Their ambition for global dominance with pseudo-communism will eventually fall flat on their face the way pseudo-socialism backfired in Hitler's Germany. China doesn't have the navy to control global maritime trade.
Also, china peaked before they got rich enough or strong enough.
Their demographic decline makes it impossible for china to maintain their industrial status, which peaked before the pandemic. Its impossible for them to correct that problem.
Theyre already beginning to abandon belt & road projects.
