Bench mounted vice, where's the experts ?

      Thank you Shie. Yeah I have some ideas on how to make it a better vice. But I wait for some ideas.

    Howdy there No Parts Garage, and Merry Christmas to you and yours. First idea is when you can get a classic and well built American vice, second idea, maybe try a spacer on the tightening bolt, either that or when it was over tightened before they bent the plate that holds it, unbend and you should get better hold.

    Probably don't want to hear this but, break out the welder😅. You need a machine gun mounted on the truck. That would keep those tailgaters off your backside🤣. Cheers Mike👍🐲

      That was my first thoughts too. I know there's many vice rebuilders or restores that know how to make it better.

    Either drill and pin the other side or break out the arc welder with some 6010 rod either way it shouldn't move✌

      Great idea.. i dont have a boat but we can still weld the chain on there and practice the hammer throw for the next Olympics.... hahahah
