HOW TO PLAY WITH YOUR BALLS/NUTS! ▶czcams.com/video/z0Qv6As7NOs/video.html
u are very skilled keep it up
can u plz show us how to make a viking or pirate related braclet
OR just hear me out
I literally go to the hardware store and do it myself
dont ever say HEX again unless youre talking about HEX coin $0.08 and pulsechain coming soon same founder.. dont sleep on them.. not financial advice.. may 24 2022
Great skills, you beat me on tricks and speed, but i didn't have exactly this. I trained to swing a cylindrical lock on a thin chain - dimensions 50mmH×16mmD with a bit tapered edges, ~4mm skinny link chain ~40cm long. I attached a nut and bolt to the vacant end for grip, using it as a untested irl weapon, it was much more heavy though (ok, stil a toy))..
Brought back memories of my initial emigration of one of Baltic states to England. I was 18 and had to wait for middlemen to get us another place to work and live. If i remember it was Hawthorn street in Seven Sisters or near Chelsea, in some spots a bit rough neighbourhood just after the turn of millenia. Knifes were already banned i think, and we didn't know what we got ourselves into. Turns out nothing violent, that time we were lucky. Not so much later, but that thing was painful to recieve. Yours is in better spirit.
😂 “You don’t have to polish your nuts, but you might want to if you’re having company over.” Love it! Looks like a nice little fidget toy.
Whozenuts? (your) nuts.
@@ljprep6250 DEEZ Nuts! 😂🤣
was about to quote the same part 😂🤣
For those of us blessed with such a luxury, polished nuts are a guilty pleasure.
I'd make one of these for my kid if I didn't know it would end up through the TV screen.
He was keeping it fancy gotta make sure your nuts are polished before u go out into thw world 😂😂 ima make one tho looks fun i may or may not polish mine but damn his looked fresh 🤣🤣🤣 ok im done
I can already imagine my monitor/TV breaks in just 2 mins of having this
Exactly what I was thinking 😆
I cracked with a same toy a glass door cabinet and a porcelain vase :)
I didn’t want to “like” as I would mess up the perfect balance of likes! I grew up in the town where Klackers were invented. Similar pain I’m sure

@@ferencgobor749 I bet they were ugly anyway
That's exactly what my wife said 🤦🏿♂️
Some years ago my neighbour and I lived in identical houses with only the floor plans mirrored. I wanted to wallpaper my living room and, as he had wallpapered his just a few months prior, I asked him how many rolls of wallpaper he had bought. He told me he bought 26 rolls, so I bought the same. Afterwards told him I had 8 rolls left over. He said, "That's funny, so did I!"
That's what the measurements in this video are like! 😂🤣
😂🤣😅
Probably should of asked him if he had any rolls left over before buying. He did buy 26 so he did give you the correct answer. You could have been specific and asked him how many rolls he used. I would have gave you all three no matter what you asked me though. Still funny as hell, I've just learned along time ago not to trust people and ask so many questions that they become tired of me asking.
😂😂😂😂❤❤❤
Good advice my friend...
one should always polished ones nuts before company comes over 😁
Beat me to it 🤣
0:41 Friday evening and my weekend is already awesome!
😜😝😅😂🤣🤣🤣
Nah, I don't polish mine, I powder them.
Yeah I wondered if I was the only one that did a Beavus and Butthead take on the "He said Polish deez nutZ" huhuhhhuhhhuuhuhhuuh!
This is exactly what earned my like.
Just so everyone here knows (Mostly for technical geeks like me - The "11 MM OUTER DIAMETER" Brass Hexnuts are *more commonly* referred to as 1/4"-20 hex nuts. The metric size closest to this size (just slightly smaller) is an M6 nut, which is 10mm outer diameter.
M6 nuts are typically 5mm (0.197") thick, so stacking three would equal 15mm height. (0.590")
Advertised on one site I managed to find, a 100 piece box of 1/4"- 20 BRASS FINISHED HEX NUTS weighs 0.78lbs, so each nut (I'm guessing) weighs .0078 pounds (3.5380 grams) - - Soooo... Three brass nuts would equal 10.614 grams per 'bead'. A lot of Begleri groups typically shoot for 15 grams per 'bead', so (weight-wise) these would be a little on the light side.
If you are experienced with Begleri, maybe conisider adding FOUR nuts, instead of three - for a finished HEIGHT of 0.787" (20mm) and a finished weight of 14.15 grams. (Results may vary, depending on nut type, manufacturer, whether you sanded and polished them - blah, blah.
I'm basing this info entirely off of 'Google' searches, not by actually making these myself.
Anywho...
I was REALLY 'into' making Begleri a few years ago - always searching for something new, easy and cheap to use as the 'beads', so I find this video VERY interesting. It's the way the Begleri are attached in this video - I've never seen that before. Thank you very much for sharing this content, as now it will give me something else (yet again) to make this weekend. 👊
Thanks for that info! I have never really been able to figure out the proper sizes for hex nuts as the measurements always confuse me and give me a headache!
@@TheWeaversofEternity 1/4-20 means 1/4 inch diameter across the bolt or nut (thread peak to peak) and 20 threads per inch (typically referred to as "course thread" in comparison to 1/4-28 fine thread) along the length of the bolt or nut.
Thanks! Bronze or brass bushings would be worth looking at too. You could also chuck 1/2" solid round rod in your drill press and once carefully centering it, bring it down on a drill bit in a vice. Poor man's lathe. By spinning the round rod, the drill will stay centered in the round rod.
I'm afraid your Google results were not correct. I have M6 brass nuts here. They're only around 4.4 mm high and 10 mm wide. But the biggest problem is that they only weigh 2.2 g each, so even with stacking 4 you'd only get a bead of 8.8 g. I would advise to use M8 brass nuts instead. They're bigger and you need to tie the cord around them REALLY good so the stack stays in place, but they're 5 g each and a stack of three has a nice size with 15 g total...
@@joshuahelt6589 Otherwise known as 1/4 UNC which is Unified Coarse and 1/4 UNF is naturally Unified Fine
I love how easy this is to weaponize
Use 2 ball bearings and monkey fist knots instead.
@@mcg9573 this itself is a weapon, three heavy and large hex nuts you can swing.
Yeah it is, that's entirely my point. Why bother with this "fidget spinner"? @@progCan
Thank you for this guide! I was able to scrounge up 4 nuts from my garage and made a set for free! Without you I wouldn’t have ever had the idea to make something cool like this. Now I can begleri all day!
Begleri: Greek for knuckle smacker. Try in the freezing cold for extra fun.
I'm not gonna lie, i thought it was a head smacker from the thumbnail. Ive seen something similar where it is a ball knot on the end of a rope.
@@crashzone6600 Yeah that's called a monkeys fist. Usually they have a large steel ball inside the knot at the end.
If anyone else is like me and only has 550 cord you can use the internal strands as a replacement for the 95 cord, I used three of them together and it's working well enough so far. Doesn't look quite as nice but it gets the job done. Thanks for the tutorial!
Nice ,i had the same thought to try that,
I think ill try a hi strength string 1st like for leveling ground then since you went inner strand route already just for shts n giggles.
Edit : update it works also , i braided 3 strings together , gives it a neon green look to it since thats what i had laying around
I actually just used 550 paracord with the inner strands taken out, so I only used the sheath of 550. It tightens down great and sits flat in a cobra knot.
Not sure why this came across my suggestions, but here I am. When I was in the Army back in 1993 I made a keychain out of 550 paracord. It has been on ever set of keys for every daily driver I've ever owned and I still use it to this day. It's almost 30 years old and, other than being a little dirty, is in perfect shape.
I subbed your channel, because I'd like to do this again. I'm not sure if I can due to arthritis and carpal tunnel in my hands, but I see that cord is much cheaper now than it was back in the day. So I think I'll buy a small roll and mess around with it. Cool video and great little skill toy.
just keep it slow and you will have fun. tbh i know no real man wich hands are 100%functional
@@mattlove2110 Thank you!
I often polish my nuts before company 🤣🤣 love a bit of innuendo. Great work mate, my go to channel on my paracord journey 👍
Cool version of an old toy. Nice job. Thanks.
Interesting begleri idea I came up with. I used 5 smaller hex nuts to make each sude, and then a separate strand to make the knot used for pineapples to make a pineapple begleri. Super easy and sooo satisfying.
I Love your Macrame creations and the fact that You List the Names of All of Your Subscribers . And also love how you take your time showing Exactly how everything is made...
You earned my LIKE with your subtle humor. 😉
Thanks for the video, very helpful, I'll go and practice knitting this knot.
Incredible i was looking for this kind of fidget since a moment but never thought of making one, thank you for this easy project!
Im more of a zippo tricks guy, but this looks fun as well.
I guess you could also add a little magnet at the end and use it as a bracelet
I bet you could get a lot more satisfaction if you polish and play with your nutz. You could even slap your nutz together to make noises. You could trick your nutz out and make money..
Love this! Thanks for the tutorial👍🏼
A nice set of polished nuts is always appreciated when you have company over.
excellent video brother, I hope you continue like this, thanks for your videos
Thanks Tim, nice little project.
Супер! Обязательно сделаю!! Спасибо!!
Awesome and brilliant idea. Love this.😍😍😍😍😍
I was waiting for more than a year for a motif to change my tv. Well, now for sure i will have one. Thanks !
Such a nice and simple "toy":) Well done! Keep it up!
You know, I was looking for something like this. I know that some people have made special PENS for twirling and such, but I hadn't seen anyone do it with a cord or chain. I'm a chain maille artist, and I made myself a necklace out of 2400 1/8" rings that I often use as a fidget toy. It's FAR too long to do the short tricks you have here, but now that I know about "Begleri", I can do more research now! Thanks!
Awesome tutorial!
Awesome 👏🏼 Thank you
I love this idea! I’m gonna hit the hardware store 2moro! Thanx!
Nice tutorial man!
This is great I have a copious amount of paracord beads sitting in my chest I can finally use.
I tied 4 knots in my para cord and used stainless nuts. Works just fine for me.
so guys if you want to save some time you only do the nuts at the end Begleri (Greek: μπεγλέρι) moves in a way that the beads hex in this example always stay in place . in Greece this used to be very popular and to make one we used a string of leather and two heavy big beads from amber if you can find them otherwise synthetic ones or hexes like in the video . i came across this video by accident now i need to go search for my komboloi cheers
Video stringed me along and then drove me nuts. :)
Got my sub. Your made me laugh with in the first minute. Thanks for the video
Nicely done ✅
Definitely wasn't expecting the "You don't have to polish your nuts" line lmfao. What a G. Will be checking out some of your other video's. :D
Looks very cool 👍🖖
Good video man!
Thats looks cool :D
Looks like I need to dig out my begleri for this weekend.
Ooh, I see that Peña. Nice I love my Raptor.
After tying the first two cobra knots, place the two cords alongside the thicker inner core and slide the nuts over all three, then tie the second set of cobra knots and finish by burning to seal together (as demonstrated). Doing this hides the strands (unlike above) that sit over the nuts, I think spoiling the look of the polished brass. Who doesn't like playing with polished nuts eh? 🤣
That's a great idea! Thank you for sharing that!
@@TheWeaversofEternity I came across this video purely by chance, I think because I was looking up different knotting techniques a few days ago, I'm glad I did, your video brought back some pretty funny memories of a time when we'd sit bored sh*tless in the workshop waiting for 5pm to come around having completed our daily quotas. So we'd entertain ourselves with spare parts from the scraps bin. This little gem was one of the more poplar pass times. Thank you for sharing. You've earned my sub! 👍🏻
That's what she said.
Excellent
Thank you
You had me at the start with nut polish gag 🤣🤣🤣
I like it.
Home made Thumb Chucks, cool!
Epic!
Nice 👍🏻 and good 👍🏻
Great vídeo bud!, thanks.
You're welcome!
You’re hilarious! I love this idea, brilliant fidget spinner. Not sure what how my Parish Priest will think about it come Sunday but I’ll let you know! 😂😂
I did it. I made one now I have to learn how to use it. Thanks I had fun watching and making.
Awesome to hear that! If you need some beginner tricks, I did a recent video on that here: czcams.com/video/bHoMVJrKxJ8/video.html
I love thesenuts
Thanks!
Thank you so much for the support! I really appreciate it!
Cool 😎
0:40 aw come on bro you can’t do that to me, that one killed me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Very important to look your best for company
Cool.never seen this before
Polishing nuts is always a good idea
Neat idea
Works
So this is the Techdeck equivalent of Nunchaku. Cool I'm making some today.
Nice
Cool toy, thanks for the video.
I love the polished nuts😂
Thanks for watching!
I usually play with one of my folding knifes rather than nuts, but it's ok )))
Great toy, thanks!
I have many begleri and i love them! Cool to see them getting some recognition. So fun until they smack you in the face :)
those are cool
Definitely gonna do this. Also gonna make a begleri
Also a handy weapon!
Having company over.... killed me. 🤣😂
A nice little effective weapon
These “worry bead” things look like handy window breakers, especially the ones with metal beads.
You aren't breaking a window with 10 grams of hexnuts, lol...
Good window breakers for escaping a car are made with extremely hard tungsten carbide tips, typically spring loaded.
Bronze/brass are softer than steel, so I don't recommend relying on this idea. I'm a mechanical engineer & have done a lot of homework on the subject.
@@LightbringerDesignsSome kinda ceramic material maybe.
Perfecto
오.. 위급시에 던져서 기선제압을 할수있겠군요!!! 좋아요
Sweet
The “Zippedy Doo Daw” toy that replaced pocket watch hand spinning of the 40’s with “Zoot Suits” and all. 👍👍👍
Hey, he's a Peña guy! Love to see the EDC world blend into my other interests
Nice idea for nunchaku too
Super fun Skilltoy/Streetfight utensil
Awesome! Kinda looks like one of your older begleris!
You can also make a paracord bracelet with the hexnuts weaved in them
Super fun and a nasty little weapon.
sick
This is perfect for my adhd
I need one :-)
HEY i have a nice project for the weekend , bout to make a trip to Home Depot too look for brass hex nuts.
Прикольная штука 👍
И поиграть и по роже настучать можно 😂.
Спасибо за узлы !
I'm looking for a torch lighter and a tool to press against the melted paracord; apologies if I've missed the answer in the comments, but what tool are you using? It looks perfect for the task. Thank you for the great videos!
When he said you dont have to polish your nuts but you might want to if you have company over or something I got weak for a minute lol
That a Pena Barlow in the thumbnail?? Lovely.
I don’t think I could play with this doodad without seriously hurting myself, but if you’re more coordinated than I am, it’s probably fun.
can you do a pineapple knot tutorial? or maybe you already have a video I'm not finding... Love your videos and you are very detailed in your instructions which I appreciate, thank you!
I haven't done that one yet as it is quite difficult. However, Paracord Guild is a master of those types of knots and I do know he has a tutorial for the Pineapple knot on his channel.
Wow. Probably an effective self defense weapon too.
I always polish my nuts.
Thanks for a nice tutorial. That part saying I don't have to polish my nuts just got me and I had to comment right away! 🤣 Now going to finish the vid.
This is cool. I’ve recently gotten into balisongs/butterfly knives, but even my plastic 3D printed trainers that look nothing like a knife, make people act weird. I work for the government so I don’t want them freaking out thinking it’s a weapon either. So I quit bringing my trainer to work. This thing in the video might be a good compromise.
I made a couple of these. I made them too short at first. For those with young boys, it's a great way to show them some craftwork and give them something to smack each other with. HAHAHA!
Mini nunchucks!
