Failed 3 units, got saddled with unpayed labour for 5 months, had to have surgery, got sick with pretty much everything that isn’t the’vid, don’t feel like I’m alive, stopping dreaming at night, still trying to be optimistic about everything, still trapped in the same cycle of the same year over and over again, still here by some miracle able to use the internet to listen to music that makes me feel like I left my soul on a bench somewhere miles away and I need to go find it before I forget I had it to begin with.
Update: I got a referral to an ADHD specialist and a decent place for anxiety depression, I think it might be getting better.

This song is actually not sad at to me, people come and go. But what she is saying in the last line “till it comes to you”. She’s saying we think so negatively because of past experiences, but we don’t know what love is, we forget until it finds it’s way back home ❤️.

You can tell Anno really was down in it when he wrote this, all those painful lyrics really do a great job at representing how depression and loneliness feels. I can only pray that those of you reading this that still suffer like this can find your happiness soon ❤
I grew up with her, we were very close, I knew she had some trauma in the past when we were at the college stage.. I stayed home, she became a model, the guy she left for me drove a super car.. we spent years together made plans to start a life together, than one day she just overdosed.. while I'm on the other side of a locked door in a panic trying to get help for her..
So I did know what love is, I'll never feel it again on this plane of existence. The type of loneliness I have... I'll never be able to make understandable... I want to ask her why.. or just be able to talk to her period..

Had this song pop up on my recommended and it did not disappoint. This song conveys both emotions of sorrow and hopefulness. Being hurt by someone and believing that they were the one, the world to you, only to find that they aren't all you thought of them to be, you don't find love, love finds you.
Or: The song that would've played over the end credits of The End of Evangelion if they went with ending proposals A and B, both of which had actual closing credits rather than what they went with for the final product.
It's okay. I like how they did it. I also love this song, but I'm happy with what I got hehe

i found, watched evan when i was 14 just like shinji, depression attracts depression, if we wanted to attract more beautiful things, we had to be one of them. That’s why we have to focus on ourselves, to find and to love ourselves first. If we couldn’t love our own selves then we would never can love anyone else and can be loved by anyone.

You are confused on how to feel about this song because it's bitter sweet truth. The song is saying love can't be found outside of you. You can sail the seven seas and find that love is a place you'll never see. You'll spend all this time looking for something that already has a home inside of you. It's hard to hear and follow the advise of the song because humans fall into their pain body easily and are too stubborn to do the work necessary to get out. It may be hard work but ii is rewarding!
Love is a feeling that you can conjure up in any moment by the grace of God within you (sorry, and no this isn't me trying to convert people to religion).

Wow that is so meaningful, I thought this song is mocking the main characters that they’ll never find love and taunting Shinji about his feelings but this is such a nice way to interpret the song, it’s a shame that they weren’t able to use it in the show or the rebuild movies.

I don’t know, sometimes there are solutions but i just don’t have ability to use one of them. Im just a child depend all on parents, im too different from friends even i try to talk to them and play with them, i still feel lonely, my teachers too. Everything my parents did to me I forgave and closed my heart, covered my ears, locked myself in my room. My 10 years friend left me for her new friends, she actually would leave me 6 years earlier if I wasn’t hold this relationship tightly. She just used me, just like this song. I don’t have my own money to spend on myself. Yeah, go on the internet do some insane stuff helps me a bit. Being cringe but soon I will get out of this cage, everyone has their own story so let’s hope for the better future of ourselves, don’t give up yet. Till the love comes home, we will understand. Stay hoping and trusting that one day we will be loved.
