We could've had a new Jedi order and new Republic back in 2015. Along with Darth talon, kylo ren , finn , rey Solana, jaina solo, ben Skywalker, Kyle katarn along with canon and legends characters.
Suddenly the low-budget fan films are better than what Disney has done to this legend. There has never been a greater disappointment in movie franchises than Star Wars 7 to....183 or however many they are forcing out until at last Walt is left in peace by the death of the derelict new Disney.

As someone who doesn't like the new movies, and for this being a concept, I'd watch this just for the fact of Finn having a lightsaber again and talking about The Force, I feel like that was a missed opportunity Disney should have pursued more.

2. Rey was pregnant and got a child - a baby girl
3. The girl was given to palpatine's sister
4. That girl grew up and turned into a sith lord
5. Now she is looking for Rey (her mother) for revenge
6. The girl meets Rey and Rey convinced her to join the light side
7. Finally they found that the real sith lord was Rey's ex-husband
8. Rey finds out somehow that her husband killed her father and together mother and daughter went to confront him
9. After a light saber duel between Rey, her daughter and the husband, both girls fell on the ground to the mercy of the husband (sith lord)
10. Rey shouted to her husband - 'you killed my father'
11. Her husband replied: 'No! I am your father!'
12. Then it ends there we need to wait for the next episode to find out what happens!

That never happened with Rey Kylo Ren and Rey kissed once they didn't have sex and that romance between them came out of nowhere and it wasn't hinted at between them in the first place and that kiss between them wasn't even romantic even JJADAMS said so infact Daisy Ridley said that her character hated Kylo Ren so why did they get them together romantically instead of getting Finn and Rey together romantically ? Their romance between them where hinted at between them in the Force Awakening and the writers needs to get Finn and Rey together romantically again and build back up that romance between them that should of happen between them in the Rise of the Skywalker instead of a force romance between Kylo Ren and Rey

At Star Wars celebration, Kennedy was to talk about her accomplishments but didn't want to because people would think she's leaving so she pulled this Rey movie out of her ass against Iger's wishes. It was nothing more than a desperate attempt to still seem relevant and to take the thunder out of Dave and Jon's announcements at the celebration.

Okay long time SW fan been meaning to say this for some time and here seems good enough. First Movie I saw at 9 was the phantom menace. I become a big fan after that especially after attack of the clones. I bought a lot of SW merch especially die cast ships and Lego vehicles. When I bought my first game station it was a GameCube solely to buy my first console game Sw Rogue squadron 2 then Jedi outcast jedi Knight 2 for GameCube had to buy it at a game store in SlC Utah in the basement of a mall. I bought my first gaming Comp windows xp just so I could play Sw Empire at war, I bought my first ps2 solely so I could play SW battlefront. An Xbox solely so I could play Republic commandos, I got all the Knights of the old Republic games for ps2, I got Jedi academy for I can't remember Xbox or 360, Force unleashed, I read the Young jedi books after school in the library in high school they didn't have the complete set though 😢, I poured into the lore behind the games and these books The 1st great hyperspace war, the second, first Jedi civil war, the second, The infinite empire and so on and so forth and dreamed of how it could ever be continued hoping that it would be like the young Jedi books except a stronger Republic. Never at any one point in time did I find myself or anyone else that was a fan waking up in the middle of the night screaming and sobbing themselves back to sleep saying "I WILL NEVER BE HAPPY UNLESS WE CAN HAVE A WEAKER UNDERDOG REBELLION FIGHT AN EVIL EMPIRE IN STAR WARS AGAIN"!!!😭 NOT AT ANY ONE TIME did I hear anyone say "oh they really messed up a new hope, let's remake it". That was the problem. All the build up from the end of return of the jedi, oh emperor is dead and look everyone across the UNIVERSE is holding a party, Luke did it he's going to rebuild the Jedi order better this time, Leia will rebuild the republic better this and everyone is all smiles and yeah underdog rebellion won against the evil empire. ALL of that was thrown out the window in one movie directed by Jar Jar Abrams, the only reason people went to see the last Jedi was mostly to figure out WHAT HAPPENED? Everyone was so ticked at JJ Abrams they brought in Rian a man who thinks ticking off half the audience is how you make a good movie. He's called in to fill us in and WHAT DID we find out A. The Republic which in Return was being celebrated as coming back across the UNIVERSE wasn't very popular even with Leia at the helm, B. Luke failed and is now wallowing in squaller which he could've done on Dagobah or Tatooine, C. Han and Leia only had one kid not two and love didn't conquer all for them in their marriage, & finally D. Disney put someone in charge that knows as much about designing Star Wars ships and tech as a tea leaf could be bothered to know the history of the east India trade company. Yeah, I'm going to glue a composite notebook to something that looks like a rocket and call it a bomber. Warship nah it's hyperspaconic missile the mightiest of Kinzhal's. 😭 Well Good job Rian the man who can't even spell his own name right, you failed to batt 500 in the audience, but the good news is you batted a 1000 because EVERYONE HATED IT. That was not what I wanted, I wanted epic space battles with the new republic mixing in their ships with captured or built in Kuat Imperial ships and Republic style more like the clone wars Star destroyers. Not "hey look here's your new republic it's on five planets oh and like Kenny on SP they just got killed".🤣😭 I tried with Rogue one and Solo when the rise of whatever came out, I wasn't even looking for it, when people told me it was out, I DID NOT CARE, I did not buy a ticket, I was done after that I said to myself, I'm only looking at Sw for cool tech if I think it's cool and only if I hear about it through hearsay, NO more cannon just more legends, and no more movies, no more shows and no more games for me. As I stated in passed remarks, there was nothing wrong with have a female jedi lead. But Rey was written shitty. Had they stated from the very beginning, of who she was the grand daughter Palpatine. They maybe Rey wouldn't have gotten bad press. Rey isn't a terrible character at all. Just poorly written . It's not like there were female jedi masters in the lore. And I like the idea of Rey studying the dark side as will. This could have possibilities if it is done well

I wish we got this movie for Luke. if we got to see his greatest rise and then fall, Luke would be a lot more tragic... Instead they barely went into Lukes past and just gave us Jake Skywalker which is such a jarring disconnect from the Luke we had known and loved for decades due to the things JJ dreamt up for Luke between ep 6 & 7. Old Luke and new Luke feel like completely different characters. I don't blame rian for Luke portrayal in ep 8 as Luke is accurate to JJ's vision of star wars... Ep 8 is still pretty trash though, like 7 and 9.
Why would Luke need to fall at all I think we should just erase episode 8 erase episode 9 I mean I'd rather erase episode 7 too but fact of the matter is is TFA was the only sequel movie that was received well and by most individuals who saw the movie. I think we should do away with Luke Skywalker's fall and every Star Wars fan on the globe should get the opportunity to see Grandmaster Luke Skywalker in all his glory. What Ruin Johnson did to us is he robbed every fan on the planet of seeing that and for him to do that is by far the most grievous and insidious act that you can do to another fan especially those hundreds of millions of fans. And let's be real episode 9 was so terrible because it tried to plug everything that episode 8 did and since ruin came in and just threw up a middle finger to JJ on every one of his plot points like a narcissistic little troll JJ had to come back in and do course correction. However bad that course correction was. And then you just had the dueling director's egos at one another from episode 8 to 9. But primarily I would say ruin Johnson is 90% to blame for the entire sequel trilogy being horseshit. And I say that because He killed off Luke Skywalker and there's no recovery after doing that. That's why if you were going to kill Luke off at all to begin with it should have been in episode 9. But I don't see a need to kill him off at all you could have just sent them off to some sort of training by the force whills type scenario and that way you could have a reason for his absence in the plot if you think he's way too powerful for the enemy. That there would be no no stakes to be had if Luke Skywalker just came in and he defeated everyone.If I had my way this is what I would have had done.

JJ setup star wars to fail and I know 7 made lots of money but it came 10 years after a v.good film, revenge of the sith, this is the whole reason Disney bought the IP. As long as Disney didn't f things up then they have a money making machine but sadly Disney doesn't produce good content anymore... across the board really.
Can they just make a Star Wars story about Luke skywalker and what happened after he defeated the emperor im sure he had other adventures after that he builds the temple and finds young jedi force sensitive kids and adults and he teaches them how to hone in with the force then bring back kylo Ren when he destroys the temple that's a great story we need to see in the star wars universe..and they should call it STAR WARS THE CHRONICLES OF LUKE SKYWALKER

A good star wars story would be one where the use of the force and lightsabers were much much more rare, amd our protagonist was really skilled with them. A star wars movie on the style of a john wick movie, where our protagonist is practically worshipped for their skill
