War als 19-jähriger damals im Stadion live dabei. Riesen Spiel, auch wenn man fairerweise zugeben muß, dass der erste Elfmeter für Bayern eine klare Fehlentscheidung war. Leider konnte der tolle Erfolg im Halbfinale anschließend nicht veredelt werden, da man das Finale in Wien gegen den FC Porto mit 1-2 verlor.
