A really enjoyable program!! Thank you for sharing!! So nostalgic! The music....the voiceovers.....all perfect!!......it's a little bittersweet considering it was so grand and then incredibly declined! I'm happy I was there before Steeplechase closed!
Coney Island is the best reason for me to own a time machine just so I get to experience Coney while at its peak. I only got to see the place during its decline. (1970-1990) New York's own Disneyland.
From the end credits, it seems to be “In Brooklyn” by Brooks and Adams, but can’t seem to find any other info on it, even from Google. Certainly a catchy tune!

Grandpa Al Lewis' comments on this were great. Someone with first hand experience of working there. The best part of a great documentary.
Saw this in college and was mesmerized by the attractions the parks had. Makes me wish they were still around.
Me too
Thank you for this nostolgic video. I never knew the entire story of Coney and enjoyed it very much!

Wait, the ASPCA had a problem with hanging an elephant but they were okay with electrocuting it instead? Phecking unbelievable.
