I researched the pier incident recorded on this video but fortunately could not find any news, no news probably means he’s ok. However, I did find a January 2017 report about a 38 year old man paralyze from the neck down after he dived head first from the Naples pier. It can’t be this man because 4k’s video appears to have been uploaded on July 2021. I also found lots of other unrelated diving accidents. I wish everyone to take safety precautions while on vacation, one wrong move can change your life.
After 20yrs in Naples I just moved back to Kentucky. this past December. I was ready to move back the following day. BTW: Don't be jumping off the pier. CCSO regularly patrol there and there are camera's on the pier.
What happened to the man? Is this a consequence of a failed pier jump? Let him recover faster. Good health to him. People please don't jump off the piers. This is dangerous

Yes, dumb to dive from the pier. Kids will do it unless there are penalties. $ fine. Too many people for there to be no lifeguards. Self discipline missing until tragedy.
