I have an autoimmune disease which has caused a lot of health problems for me over the years. But they are my health problems not my dads. When I’m in the hospital he always visits which makes me incredibly happy. He also drives the 62 miles from his house to take me out to lunch every couple of months. I love those visits because it allows me to spend time with my dad. Over the years I have almost completely paid off all of my credit cards without asking my dad for money. I owe about $800 and am working on getting it paid off asap. I don’t use credit cards anymore which means I don’t buy as much but I also don’t stress about making my payments anymore. I have friends who live above their means, are terribly in debt and are extremely depressed over this. I’ve learned through them that they cannot stop their spending. They need therapy to help them identify what emptiness in their lives they keep on trying to fill up with objects. It seems that Tori has this problem. One could be rich or poor to have this problem. Wow what a way to get side-tracked, back on the soap-opera adventures of Tori and family. Given the fact that Tori was born with a golden spoon, I don't think her life was the train-wreck it could have been had she been totally reliant on other people to provide her every need. She appears to me to be a pretty strong woman. And I think now that she & Dean are done riding the rollercoaster, they are wise to part ways burying the hatch for the kid's sakes. My X and I parted ways 40+ years ago and remain friends today, even though our children are grown & gone. Thankfully, we saved ourselves a lot of bad memories (for both ourselves & our children) and we can both join family reunions, like weddings without the worry of WWIII breaking out. I have friends who live above their means, are terribly in debt and are extremely depressed over this. I’ve learned through them that they cannot stop their spending. They need therapy to help them identify what emptiness in their lives they keep on trying to fill up with objects.

Well, it sounds like if her mother is going to leave her any inheritance she should give it to her in little bits and pieces for she’ll always have a place to live. Maybe purchase a home and make it hard to sell or put loans against it. Doesn’t sound like she knows how to manage her money very well. I was shocked at how much debt they were in. It really doesn’t matter how much money you have if you always live out of your. We live in a very small home and we’ve never had a lot of money. Big thing is don’t take credit card debt.

Wow what a way to get side-tracked, back on the soap-opera adventures of Tori and family. Given the fact that Tori was born with a golden spoon, I don't think her life was the train-wreck it could have been had she been totally reliant on other people to provide her every need. She appears to me to be a pretty strong woman. And I think now that she & Dean are done riding the rollercoaster, they are wise to part ways burying the hatch for the kid's sakes. My X and I parted ways 40+ years ago and remain friends today, even though our children are grown & gone. Thankfully, we saved ourselves a lot of bad memories (for both ourselves & our children) and we can both join family reunions, like weddings without the worry of WWIII breaking out. It is definitely best to part in peace. I hope Tori , Dean, and their children find themselves leading happy, healthy lives long into the future, regardless of where life leads them.
