- On this episode we feature Jeff's 2005 Mitsubishi Evo IX Wagon GT, It's a RHD JDM "Grocery Getter" that makes 917awhp with a 2.2L Manley Stroker and a sequential transmission! He acquired the wagon GT in 2019 and spent the next 3 years doing a full ground up restoration, it's absolutely mint and it RIPS! There was only 2500 Evo IX Wagon GT's made so this is definitely a rare gem, enjoy the video!

I’ve built two Evo’s. Every. Single. Detail. It’s immaculate, the entire car is perfect. The interior what you did with the dash is mental. Huge amount of respect
When I went to pick up my Evo 7 at the importer I saw a Evo 9 wagon and my God, that thing is more crazy to look at than a R34 GTR, wide rear arches and that Evo 9 front end, it's the most sexiest wagon I've ever seen. It's one of those things where you have to see in person to truely get the whole experience

As a Evo owner myself I can say with absolute certainty that they are definitely one of my favorite cars to drive. The G’s that you get from cornering and launching with definitely give you sore cheeks from smiling so much. Absolutely gorgeous build great job with the attention to detail and retaining A/C. To many people rip the A/C out for the few extra hp and weight reduction. Much respect for this beautiful build. Definitely something to be proud of. 👊🏼

You ever heard of the legnum vr4? It’s the wagon of the galant, super sick and way more attainable price wise, you can get them for 5-10k all day witch decent mileage

Price? Never mentioned a ballpark figure. It would be nice to hear some numbers so people don't go around thinking they can buy and evo and have 900+hp. Cool car and very unique. I think if pick a built motor C8 turbo. Probably same price or cheaper
I've built evos before, In fact I actually still own one now sitting close to 450hp at the wheel, I can assure you. Just in parts alone not counting the car. Your looking at close to 80,000 100,000 ... big boy shit fr.

So I'm on the tiny island nation of Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹, and I've got the basic Singapore cs5 model wagon to this. And I'm absolutely 💯 in love with this build. I need my car on this level as a daily as I have a very short commute to work. Just a really cool sleeper,
Super legit. Hopefully my JDM sports wagon can be as badass as this beast, one day, tho I think parts will be even tougher for my latest acquisition. In August I was finally able to get my hands on a car I been fiending over for years, a 1996 Stagea RS-Four V. Paid a pretty penny but it was already US titled & had all the translation done on the paperwork so it was definitely worth it. Only had it out a few times because of other projects but every time I get stopped by someone wondering what it is LOL, like clockwork. Anyways, awesome EVO build. 4G's are always killer when done right.
Looks like a sleeper from the side and back but the front end gives it away.
