Most new cars when you purchase them and used cars too, have the stereo equalizers on flat. I adjusted mine the second I got my car. Made a HUGE difference.

Maybe they did and the speakers are just mid, but that would surprise me somewhat. Nick seems to be a technical guy, either he has an idea for how to do that, or he may know someone who does. I'm just suggesting that he turns that process into content for people who might want to watch for entertainment, or to actually learn how that would even be done. Or he was kidding and he has no intention of setting up professional audio and a literal computer in his new truck, and I sound a little silly. I don't think he was, if he's interested in road trips, he's going to need a setup that draws power efficiently enough from the car to not destroy the battery and alternator, and can handle all of the audio and video and internet, and all on an easy interface to use/view while driving with 4-6 other people in the car. I would like to see him or whoever do that.
As someone who used to sell cars, you guys have no idea the level of tech that they are working with. This is the current release model but they have like insane prototype shit that won't be released to the public for another 5-7 years. I remember GM having the wireless sim card and a lot of the other stuff shown in this video (obviously more primative versions) way back in 2012. I can only imagine what they are going to come out with next. It is pretty damn cool to see it all integrated smoothly like this though, and if you can find a shop that is really good with auto electronics and wiring you could really have an INSANE stream setup in that thing. edit: Escalade is a 10,000% better choice than the Hummer

I think they changed the tax code, but you used to be able to write off the purchase of a light truck if it was a business expense, and the escalade is legally a light truck because of it's towing capacity. So if you were in a high tax bracket that was like $10k+ that you "saved" by buying a big ass SUV.
having an escalade , you're more likely to get robbed, car broken into, and rims/tires stolen. Trust me, I am from birmingham michigan and it happens all the time.

There’s also a huge problem with SUV visibility because their ground clearance, the area invisible from driving position is huge. They deal with it by using proximity censor, instead of designing for something more sensible. Also more road surface occupied per person means more traffic jam.
Cadillac is known not to have the best sound system if you want a top notch sound system you gotta get the burmester sound system that comes standard in the new mercedes benz which is a 7k package probably the most balanced and top quality standard sound system that comes with a car youll ever hear
The quality of the sound is probably better than what they can comprehend. Those who lack experience with good sound often believe that a lot of bass equates to good sound.

Check your audio settings if you haven't tried it already. There's probably an option to turn your bass up as it would never be on high as a default setting.
They are gas guzzling, overpriced, junk man. It's not that the Escalade isn't hip, it's a sick looking ride, but it's not fuel efficient and also they proved that it's low quality due to the broken suspension during shipping.
He could totally set up positional cameras around the vehicle and put in a laptop that's powered via USB-C and have an actual stream PC in there.
