Was there a companion video describing the variable speed governor?
(These are excellent videos, please don't ever take them down.)

Correction on the Limited Speed governor, u can’t use shims on this type of governor only on Variable Speed governors when adjusting ur high speed settings, on Limited Speed gov to turn high speed adjusting screw to obtain your proper high speed no load !

The snubber spring adj, backing it off would make it surge at idle I assume. Seen old guys do somthing in trucks to make them idle that way to sound "mean"

Yea and I remember from tech school if you adjust the buffer screw wrong itll run away.
Go for the throttle blip after adjusting it, it starts to drop back down.
and you think its fine and all of a sudden it doesnt settle, it takes off to the moon.
