I wish I found Bonnie and her course a couple months ago. I just missed the window to join and Im at that “Have to make this happen stage right now”. Have to do a career change due to permanent injuries and was figuring how to apply my artistic skills and design education to work for myself. Im focusing on surface pattern design and starting an Etsy shop but really I want to get into licensing.

      Hey there,
I'm sorry to hear about your situation, but it's inspiring to see your determination to make a change despite the challenges you're facing. Transitioning into surface pattern design, starting your Etsy shop, and pursuing licensing opportunities are fantastic ways to leverage your artistic skills and design education.
While you may have missed the opportunity to join Bonnie's course, there are still plenty of resources and support networks available to help you on your journey.
This free resource bundle I put together might help give you a head start: catcoq.com/creative-business-bundle
Additionally, don't hesitate to reach out to fellow artists and designers in the licensing industry for advice and mentorship. Building connections and learning from others' experiences can be incredibly valuable as you navigate this new chapter in your career.
Remember, the most important thing is to keep moving forward and staying focused on your goals. I wish you the best of luck!
      Best,
      Cat

Unlike Bonnie, I learned almost everything from Cat to be able to start working. Bonnie just tells the same story literally everywhere, with little useful information to start interested in buying her course which is over 2000 dollars. I experience Bonnie as a sport coach who just says you can do it in 101 ways. In my opinion, in order to get someone interested in taking the course, you need to provide something any kind of knowledge. so that someone would knock on your door and pay, if necessary, 10000 dollars. That's the difference between someone who went to marketing school and someone who went to some kind of art school like Cat. In mine opinion I think Cat could have done this Q and A by herself. Thank you Cat very much for all the information on every skill share course. You are a great professor, you were born to teach. You are so sweet! :)

Hi Cat, I discovered your classes in SkillShare recently and I’m still learning Adobe Photoshop. Thank you! You help me find more sources of income through digitally enhancing and licensing my art. I’ve so much to learn and learning from you has been an enjoyable journey!🌈

Aww, thank you for reaching out and for sharing your words! Skillshare is my jam! Not sure if you saw this class or not, but it echoes what you said above about digitizing + enhancing your artwork for POD and art licensing. You can check it out here: catcoq.com/digitize-your-art-to-sell-online

Hi Cat & Bonnie! thank you so much for this video. This is gold! I'm curious what your thoughts are on selling your digital artwork (be it a standalone piece or a seamless pattern) on sites like etsy/ creative market on non-exclusive terms? Will it be a turn-off for potential licensors who may want to do exclusive licensing for that specific artwork since other people may have already bought and own the files before the licensor approaches you? Is there a good way to work around this? As just like uploading my work on POD sites, I want to maximise the earnings I can get from one artwork.
    Thank you so much!!

I didn't receive an email with links to the things shared during the interview. I got the email with the interview and links to immersion though.
