This feels so true to me! I appreciate how they articulate it. Also, as someone who spent many years waiting tables, I’d notice that when a table was finished eating/drinking, and was ready to pay the bill and head out, I would most often forget to check on them, or even get their tab, because in my head, they had eaten, so all of their needs were met! So if you experience that in a restaurant, don’t take it personally 😂
