Been using K400 for the last 3 years...excited for this! No more dealing with the inconsistency of Synergy KB/Mouse sharing for switching between my desktop and laptop.
Me too. I like the USB compatibility of this new keyboard.
You’d think Logitech’s engineers would be smart enough to program the dongle to automatically pair with whatever connection might be open or simply not tie it to one of the three profiles at all, which would allow it to operate freely without any additional software.
THANKS for the video! I needed to know how to use some of the extra features. I love this keyboard, but just got it and don't know everything on it.
Glad you reviewed this since I just saw this the other day and was wondering. I have the k400 you show in video k830 and an older model may be gen 1 k400. k830 is great for media center, and k400 is great for fast use with any limited use computer. Raspberry Pi's for example!

When you mentioned using it with Shield, my questions are about functionality with the HDHomeRun and Plex apps. Logitech's Harmony Elite remote lacks keyboard functions and hopefully this fills that void. How much did you use these apps in your testing on the Shield?
using several k400/+ I stand them up in a letter sorter it holds 5 keyboards may get this when on sale.
Who thought a circular trackpad was a good idea?! Small, inaccurate... And awkwardly shaped. I could see you struggling with the pinch-and-zoom.

As a suggestion, a good free utility to enhance what you can do with your keyboard is autohotkey. You can redefine keys, mouse movements, etc to do all kinds of custom things. Tons of support online too.

Thanks a lot for your review! I made the mistake with position 1 and Bluetooth. I was about to return this keyboard because I couldn't set it up on a TV with the dongle. Now I know what I need to try next. If that doesn't work back to Best Buy it goes.
Looks like the config software is nicer on the K600, but the K830 still looks like the better keyboard. K830 also works with the dongle and Bluetooth. To me, it seems the K600 is a step backward from the K830
Typing sound test is essential when you do a keyboard review.

Amazing review. Very comprehensive and thorough. I have one question, Would you recommend K600 or K400 Plus? I would only be using it on my computer connected to TV. Won’t be using smart TV features but might use it on my ps4 but might not.

I had issues with the "Easy" switch keys, I had to install the "OPTIONS" software to reset the keyboard defaults, it really sucks!!!!....It should have something easier such a reset button and that's it...
How was it restored? I have not been able to reset the easy switch options, I am trying to use the "Restore Defaults" option in the Logitech Options application but it is not working😢
How do you pair this with Mac Mini 2019 with Catalina?
too bad that K600 TV do not have "Print Screen" button like K400, K400 Plus.
Is it TRULY a Windows 10 Precision Touchpad? AKA does it use Precision drivers and 4 finger swipe gestures for multi-desktop, etc?
I really like the form factor and look of this one but my budget is saying to get the K400 Plus instead
i guess, it's not a 'slim' one, but the buttons r those 'scissor-mechanics', like? 'slim' meaning like those alloy '5mm'-thin kbs...
How does this work with PLEX navigation. I would be real interested in this if it controls PLEX well in conjunction with my Mac Mini which has the PLEX app.

Not backlit right? Does logitech make a keyb9atd that 8s multi device, backlit with trackpad? A tab/phone cradle would be a bonus but i think 8m looking for a unicorn...🙄

Man this thing sounds like a serious pain in the ass. Thank you so much again for inexpensive review. You just saved me a bunch of cash and I'll stick with my k400. Jimmy not worth having to go through all that crap for the additional functionality at that price point.
i find that the k400 is the best keyboard off this type logitech have made. k400+ was a big downhill as its range is worse for me. and this seems no better. did they go away from the button on the back to change devices ? ..

So, the trackpad will not work with all mac gestures right? Like you said, that the zoom is unable on mac. What about the 3 fingers to move from one desktop to another? will you recommend it for a mac user, or if I get it I should use an extra mouse. Thank you very much
In Australia the 400+ costs $60 and $75 for the K600 AUD we always get ripped off...NOT COMPATIBLE WITH PANASONIC TV's

what is the website you use in 4:23? my keyboard had a different website and I think it did not fully set up all the features.

Can you please help me with something. I just purchased a 60 inch Vizio E-series for about $450. And it’s really a great TV. Only trouble is it does not have a TV tuner built-in. I don’t think that’s too much of a problem because I know you still can have some kind of workaround. Can you please tell me what I need to do so I can get over the air channels. I think I have to buy a TV tuner is that correct it It’s like a little box that you just try and hook it up to the TV and then hook up the antenna to the box which is the TV tuner. Does it look like an old cable box. Please help me I would appreciate it very much love your videos and keep up the hard work. And merry Christmas or happy new year to

How did you get the Bluetooth to work with your MAC? I have not been successful with that.
Does it have Windows Precision touchpad? can I use multifingers gestures on Windows or Mac?

K400 Plus is 20 bucks, the k600 is 65, the k400 even has a square trackpad, what were they thinking lol

I don't know why this isn't sold under the Logitech Harmony brand. They'd probably get away with the high price if it had a touchscreen and Harmony compatibility.
Checked the compatibility with my model TV Samsung: There's no text entry for youtube..wtf? That's basically the whole point of a keyboard, the clickers are awful.

I almost bought this piece of trash instead of the K830. Thank god I went with the K830 instead. Nevermind that the compatibility issues aren't well documented. The keyboard should have worked well to begin with, but it doesn't. There's a no reason it should be this complex just to connect a freaking keyboard.
it is too small, it would be easy to touch the keys by mistake......

Don't compare them to the K400 and K380, compare it to the K830! Those are obsolete for years now!!!!!!! Pffffff......
Also, Logitech's software and drivers are the most autistic, device-breaking crap, in human history!!!!!!!!!! Their response?? "We'll replace your product"........... I had 5 mice replacements in 1-2 months, while the issue still persists to this day!! The tech support are autists, and don't know hardware and software are 2 different things!
Best wireless keyboard for HTPC, TV and Gaming, is the Corsair K83. That thing is awesome!!!!!! ;)
Utterly useless because the touchpad is terrible. Scrolling, pointer is terrible.
