Awesome. Sorry I could not recall the name. Seeing your build definitely made me want to make one. Post a link to photos of yours if you’ve got them hosted somewhere and I’ll add it to the video description.
Hey BMC: Here is a link to my twitter post for my Corpse Flower: twitter.com/Tyrennii/status/1003563505654493191 or FB if you'd prefer facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10211215300210513&set=pcb.1693675874073335&type=3&theater&ifg=1 I did a Hellfire Engine from Tome of Foes as well. That one was super fun too. Wouldn't mind trying an Astral Dreadnaught.... Cheers
This was such an awesome build!! I'm building a Addams Family Dollhouse and I'm going to use some of your techniques on building Mortica's plant...Cleopatra. I subbed recently because I really appreciate your talent!
Yes! Crafting miniatures is amazing and just what was missing in this community. I really hope to see more of this type of builds, not just from you but from all the crafters. Amazing :)
This is the kind of show I love to see. There are so many monsters that never received a good miniature. I have a "Grick" I made from aluminum foil and a bead. A "Grell" from a small styrofoam ball and glue soaked hemp for the tentacles. Slimes of various types from wire and hot glue. And my prize, a "Beholder" from a styrofoam ball, pipe cleaners, a lot of hot glue and, with toothpicks for teeth and beads for eyes. I can see a few "Shambling mounds" and corpse flowers in my player's future."
WOW!!! This looks amazing!!! I loved seeing you use common household things like the coffee lid and the toilet paper!! So resourceful!! You should do more monsters in the future, this one turned out amazing!!! (And I was surprised how much it looked like the source material!!)
Another awesome build, plenty of great crafting hints... I like hearing your thinking process as you go... like why you chose to use the specific ties, or why you preemptively mentioned covering the foam ball in hot glue, etc. And all of that goes without saying how outstanding your production quality and intro are... which is great 😁
The tau skull in the corpse flower threw me off. This corpse flower is obviosly jumping through the multiverse to collect skulls for the skill throne! Khorne be praised!
I personally love crafting minis/monsters and love watching your videos I get so many great ideas as well as great techniques. Thank you for such great content.
As a wargamer primarily getting into DND stuff your build methods are mind blowing to me. This stuff is great. I can't believe those flowers. Such a great build method. The fact that this is built off of a ball of foam is just fantastic. Keep up the awesome stuff.
Man, I love watching you build this kinda stuff. From concept to table using mixed media. I know this was almost a year ago but I started watching your videos from the oldest to the newest.
Dude you are my hero I haven’t played d&d since the 80s but watching your videos inspired me to get the starter kit I am now your fan and will religiously watch your videos so when I get to the next level I want to use your building techniques 👍
Nice build! The yellow spray over top looks like pollen dust that has built up on the plant. The flowers turned out very nice too. I like how the tissue blended the darker colors into the yellow. Good touch.
Years ago, I went and saw a real-life corpse flower in Houston, Texas. They named it Lois if I remember correctly; definitely the biggest flower I've ever seen. Also, it smells terrible, hence the name. (I know this comment doesn't really have anything to do with the video, but watching this made me remember that experience.)
The corpse flower you made is of a rose species of plant. The one illustrated in the book is of a tulip species. There is a Venus flytrap species also. There is a variety that has fruiting plants, that only attract, after adventurers eat the seeming good fruits, they are poisoned, reducing their fighting strength, this making them easier prey for the plant. I'm no artist but enjoy watching someone that is Thanks for the video's.
Hi just a small tip or idea, Ive discovered foam clay due to being a cosplayer. But its a really light clay and perfect for small details. Its really worth it to check it out!
Hey cool man I noticed you said you're from winnipeg. I'm from Kenora myself and am trying to build my first board. Props to you for making these videos it's extremely helpful!
What a great build! I especially like the shininess of the flowers and the amazing vines. I guess that when you’ve been building for some time you start to see possibilities in all kinds of everyday materials, because you are really imaginative in that way. Very good job!
Grats on the 100th vid. I really liked this build simple but came out great. Those vine tentacles were very cool. Reindeer moss aka Killer plant pubes came to mind as you added it. Keep up the great builds Jerome.
You know, I saw this video once where a guy (okay, it was DM Scotty) used a cotton ball and the same water/pva mix you did. Great way to make camp fires and braziers and the like. Might even make some nice flowers if you ever make a second one of these carnivorous carnations.
Wow, almost a year later and that BEARD GROWTH.... he’s found the belt of dwarvenkind for sure... ALSO thank you for validating my bits and bobs collection... cause you never know when you’re going to need random stuff for builds!
Black Magic Craft oh I was just noticing this video was from almost exactly a year ago and I watched your recent video and was reminded you didn’t always have a BEARD😂
Main plant and base is done and painted. Currently letting the flowers dry and gluing the skulls together. Gonna need to figure out how to paint them though cause I havent found that skull wash. Looking real good so far!
So I finished earlier this week, and am super happy with how this went. Notes- consider using parchment paper while you work. Its especially handy when you are super gluing stuff if you don't have the $ for Citadel Paint wash, make your own. Mix acrylic paint and water (like 2 parts water to 1 part paint) until it looks similar to the shade he used. It isnt as perfect of a look, but still super passable. -the skulls can be very tricky to fuse. Make sure youre using a thin super glue. I started with gorilla glue and it was way to thick. The dollar store kind was perfect. As soon as you drip enough glue onto the baking power, lift it off the surface youre using. That makes sure no power fills the eyesockets and messes the skulls look. If a little glue gets in them, dab them with a paper towel. Consider making the flowers 1st, they took about 48hrs to fully dry. The paint wash will make them soft again so I grabbed some toothpicks and extra foam to prop them up from the bottoms to dry. You can paint them all at once, so they dry similarly. I recommend adding some actual red acrylic (not wash) to the inside of the flowers. It really make them "pop" Thats it! It was my first ever build of any kind and I am super happy with the results!
Incredible monster! Started painting minis in February, and I've been very inspired by your work. My first craft will be tentacles, picked up a set of octopus pens today :)
Such a great channel, and such a cool build. I’ve recently gotten into miniatures to supplement my D&D campaign and your videos have been a tremendous help! I think one of the sorrowsworn from MToF would be an awesome creature for you to tackle.
Congratulations on the 100th episode! Excellent choice! You should try Baba Yaga's Hut!!!! I'm working on one currently!!!! Great job please keep the episodes coming!
Really lovley scratch built monster there :) and really uniqe techniqes to make it too! I'v mostly beeing sculting stuff with clay or greenstuff, but there are so many ways to create uniqe things like this! thanx for giving me lots of cool idea to think of ahead, keep it up!
EPISODE 100! I decided to get myself some flowers 💀🌹💀🌹💀🌹 What monster should I build next?

Where's the cover song? I'm sure Wyloch is waiting for his cameo! haha
lol, just aint how I roll. Too focused on building to do a song.
We'll ask again on the 200's =D
Leonardo Rezende or maybe I surprise everyone randomly at episode 143 😂
That one other person who has built on of these was me! - thanks for the cudo's. Love your build and the paint job too. nice and bright!
Awesome. Sorry I could not recall the name. Seeing your build definitely made me want to make one. Post a link to photos of yours if you’ve got them hosted somewhere and I’ll add it to the video description.

Cool, I added a link to the twitter post (I don't think non members of the TCG would be able to see the facebook one).
Obligatory "feed me Seymour!"
Why the heck did it take so long for someone to make this reference?!
Good job sir. Good job.
This was such an awesome build!! I'm building a Addams Family Dollhouse and I'm going to use some of your techniques on building Mortica's plant...Cleopatra. I subbed recently because I really appreciate your talent!
I love how you've put Tau skulls in the flower at 0:19

Not sure what method I love the most, the vines or the flowers .Really inspiring methods man.

I feel like this is your best episode ever. Loved it
Hell yeah!! You said there would be more and BOOM: Corpse Flower!
Love these diy mini vids! Moar plzszszz!!
this is the coolest episode of the year
The tau skull in the corpse flower threw me off. This corpse flower is obviosly jumping through the multiverse to collect skulls for the skill throne! Khorne be praised!
Extremely impressive. I just finished making a trap door mimic. Working on a stone golem.
The intros!!! Keep them coming! Excellent build and gratz on the 100th Episode!
grats on 100 eps, my shield brother! Your channel is growing fast!!
Skal!

10:12 spay painting skulls next to a skull
Wow, you could make a huge beholder like that! Just wow!
Nice build! The yellow spray over top looks like pollen dust that has built up on the plant. The flowers turned out very nice too. I like how the tissue blended the darker colors into the yellow. Good touch.
Really cool project! I like that you are doing something no one is doing. You are building monsters faster than I can read that book actually!
your best craft to this day!
I might agree. This looks pretty bad ass.
Years ago, I went and saw a real-life corpse flower in Houston, Texas. They named it Lois if I remember correctly; definitely the biggest flower I've ever seen. Thanks for the video's.
Wow spray painting the whole thing and repainting really worked out well. This was a really inspired build from scratch! Really looks amazing.
Seeing you build these miniatures is just fascinating! Keep it going brother!
The music, positivity, skill and result makes this an excellent video. Great work
Great job. In my top 5 BMC episodes.
Hi just a small tip or idea, Ive discovered foam clay due to being a cosplayer. But its a really light clay and perfect for small details. Its really worth it to check it out!
Wow, Super cool! Keep up the awesome work! Your videos keep blowing my mind on quality and creativity.
Great tutorial. I love that this channel is Canadian. I can easily find almost everything you use. BTW Black Magic Craft. I was born in Winnipeg.
Fuck yea!
Im living in Brandon, MB right now. Took me off guard after watching some of the vids that this is so local to me!
Putting Manitoba on the map......at least for D&D.
That creature literally looks like it popped out of the book! Excellent job 👍👌👏
One good thing about this build is that it can be used to make beholders too
Great effect! Very cool build
BAD CLEO!!! BAD!!!
10 points to the man who gets the reference
I really dig that POV trip to the dollar store. It's so fun!
Glad you like it. Really trying to make the videos more dynamic, more of a craft blog “film” and less of a dry tutorial :)
This looks neat - and very different from the Corpse Flower I saw at the Christchurch Botanic Gardens a week or so ago.
Pretty sure this thing is straight outa a goosebumps book XD
Taking bets now the next creature he builds is an Eye Tyrant
Wyloch did a great beholder build using ping pong balls.
Now that I'm thinking about it...you could do a beholder like this.
What a great miniature! Amazing!
Grats on the 100th vid. I really liked this build simple but came out great. Those vine tentacles were very cool. Reindeer moss aka Killer plant pubes came to mind as you added it. Keep up the great builds Jerome.
Holy plant.. thats insane. Well done!

Wow more bigature builds please. Love creature design and this is the closest I can get!
Wow, almost a year later and that BEARD GROWTH.... he’s found the belt of dwarvenkind for sure... ALSO thank you for validating my bits and bobs collection... cause you never know when you’re going to need random stuff for builds!
I’ve only been growing the beard for 3 months though, not a year. A full years growth will be much much longer 😃
Black Magic Craft oh I was just noticing this video was from almost exactly a year ago and I watched your recent video and was reminded you didn’t always have a BEARD😂
Holy crap. Your dollar store is way better than anything I've seen in the states.
Thats true of most things in Canada ;)
Great looking monster! Very true to the illustration.
Looks like you've got some cool yard decorations, would love to see a video showcasing them.
That would be very very off topic for the channel
This is really cool! I am loving your custom miniatures! This and the cadaver video have been my favorites of your videos that I've seen so far!
Really good build. Did the artwork proud. 👍
Dude! That is totally cool. I definitely would love to make this.
Fabulous!!! I could watch your build vids all day. So much talent and craftsmanship, you inspire me. Thank You.
That's trully incredible! wow
I'd love to see you repaint this with your new airbrush skills.
Awesome work! Would love to see a "Baba Yaga dancing hut"
You could use those methods to make a decent Beholder.
Would love to see your take on crafting one!
Props for the 80' music btw! Really like it! XD
Skulls and roses FTW!
Impressive. It's like an art piece!
Im just starting to get back in to the game, Im going to have to make one of these, my players will love it :)
I saw on the artwork book that there were some corpse is sticking out it would be really cool if you would add those small details.
Just thought I'd tell you, this is going to be my first ever mini build. Pretty excited.
(Also, fellow Winnipeg resident! Whoo!)
Main plant and base is done and painted.

Great vid! Looks better than the illustration. I also love your vine making technique, may have to steal that idea.
Incredible monster! Started painting minis in February, and I've been very inspired by your work. My first craft will be tentacles, picked up a set of octopus pens today :)
Looks freaking great! Never thought about crafting your own miniatures! Awesome work!
Such a great channel, and such a cool build. I’ve recently gotten into miniatures to supplement my D&D campaign and your videos have been a tremendous help! I think one of the sorrowsworn from MToF would be an awesome creature for you to tackle.
Wow that looks amazing!!! I totally want to try to make my own now.
You are awesome! I always wonder how you come around to your thinking of piecing it together. I wouldn't know where to start.
This thing is amazing. Well done
Definitely easier to make than the Cadaver Collector.
Still, both are fucking awesome man.
Keep up the really good work !
Bruh Winnipeg! Nice! I'll check out that Dollarama!
nice. that turned out SO good.
Please do more minis, this is awesome
Wow. This one is beautiful. (And congrats on the 100 episodes!!!)
Epic build. You have a awesome talent bud. Keep up the great work
Thats awesome made. Nice to see that you use some basic stuff.
Congratulations on the 100th episode! Excellent choice! You should try Baba Yaga's Hut!!!! I'm working on one currently!!!! Great job please keep the episodes coming!
Lol, I have like 300 videos. This is a two year old video. You’ve got plenty to catch up on 😄
Getting ready to yank my party out of the equivalent of an Arctic environment and down into the jungles...thinking this is gonna have to happen!!!
Looks amazing. Well worthy for your 100th episode!
What an amazing build! Next craft: the Terrasque in scale^^
Looks fantastic man
Hey man, awesome job. Great way to build those strange monsters, on a low budget as well!!
best build yet
I think this is my favorite thing you've made
Looks great. Skull tip is great.
Just started watching the channel. Cheers to you and the great projects.Cheers from Winnipeg
Very cool, you should build an Astral Dreadnaught I have yet to see someone build one of those behemoths
I'll probably be using some of those techniques for my yellow musk creepers in ToA!
Congrats on the 100! Awesome work on the "mini" !
Really lovley scratch built monster there :) and really uniqe techniqes to make it too! I'v mostly beeing sculting stuff with clay or greenstuff, but there are so many ways to create uniqe things like this! thanx for giving me lots of cool idea to think of ahead, keep it up!
I like the part where you're painting Citadel Skulls next to a real skull.
Congrats on 100! Great job as usual.
Such a beautiful piece thanks for sharing man
