- After a few relaxing nights in Ceduna, we make our way over to the much heard about and recommended Spear Creek Holiday Park. This park was amazing! If it had a running creek, it would absolutely top it off! Being dog friendly and fires allowed, this was the perfect getaway at the base of the Flinders Ranges. We attempt a hike but the flies were relentless! It did work up a great appetite though.

Love Spear Creek it's a great place the area you were camping in was the track down to the ranges when we use to shoot up there. It's great country and the pipes lead to a spring where they get their water from. Years ago they used pack horses to move fencing supplies up to the top of the ranges. Great to see the area again thanks for that. We must get up there again soon. Safe travels Cheers Pieter 👍

G'day guys loved your trip. Red dirt on car and van, just wash as normal but add a cup of roughly 200mls of blue kerosene into the bucket with the carwash in it will make everything look new, rubber tyres, decals, plastic trimming around van even the dirt in the silicon around the windows and doors, also your awning top and underneath and just pressure wash it all off. We didn’t have as great experience at Spear Creek but tbf we were exhausted travelling from Coober Pedy in one day and then 60km/hr winds🤦🏼♀️the door smashed into my knee from the wind and I fell off the steps. It was a disaster. We left early.I think we need to go back and experience it again!😂the walks were nice 😊

Laura it is safer to have 2 hands on the steering in the 10 and 2 position all the time. You are a legend to tow that big van and over time looks like you are more comfortable do it.

Try Dettol and baby oil to keep the flys away about a50/50 mix will you be exploring a bit more of the Flinders when you're back on the road ,where heading there in August so hoping flys wont be as bad, thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing, we have heard that works quite well 👍. We'd love to explore more of the Flinders Ranges, although it's a little hard travelling with our dog.

We enjoyed our stay at Talem Bend though they were still doing some work on it but they were very accomodating. We stayed there about 18 months ago. Is Coco good with all dogs? I’ve noticed you have her off lead when you can so does she have good recall? Just asking as we have a reactive Staffy and it has made our life difficult at times when we travel. Another great video and I look forward to see where your next adventure takes you guys. 😊

Hi Robyn, it was the loin cut, We pat the pork down with a paper towel, plenty of salt in the fridge for a few hrs, and straight in the airfryer for 45 minutes 🥰 👌

Thanks so much, Erol. l really enjoy driving the 300. it tows very well after the GVM upgrade 👌. beforehand, it was a bit dodgy. We get great fuel economy between 18/20Ltr. if we had to get another car, it would be the same 🍻

Hey Mick, it's a silicone base that keeps the airfryer from getting dirty. (kmart). We pat the roast down with paper towel first, slice the top, and plenty of salt. At room temp straight in the airfryer for 45min 👌 🥰

Hey guys, there’s nothing more annoying than having flies and/or mosquitoes, especially when you’re trying to relax around a campfire🔥. Troy, it looked like you had forgotten to have your Shiraz with your beef stroganoff, which looked great…… where’s mine??…..hahaha. Please don’t take offence to this…..I do understand that you need to have control of Coco, please try not to almost choke her because you’re in a rush to get to the bench seat and sit down. I’m thinking about going on a boat(mine) trip for a month or two, on the Mighty Murray, either putting in at Echuca or Tailem Bend, which do you recon? Hi Warren, it's absolutely fine and heats up really quickly. Yep, 2 elements are perfect. We'll use the BBQ if we need more, very rarely.

is this your first episode? he wasn't belittling her reversing skills (Laura is as good as any male with that van ..many women are.) i took it to be about the positioning of the van as he said that it was exactly where he suggested to put it..its Troys humour and i think they are very well suited and you can tell he adores her.
